"This place would be 5 stars except for 2 small but big deals. First there IS a septic problem that permiates the bathroom in a bad way. Second the "private beach" is nothing like you hope for in a Philippino beach. It's in a tiny industrial area that's really loud and you need water shoes if you're gonna go in because it's so insanely rocky. Everything else about our stay was awesome. "I had 3 days at the resort and absolutely loved every minute. It is a small resort. But It was very relaxing, quiet, I loved the spa. The staff were extra helpful and the food was great. I was in a pool side room, which I think was the older building, however, the room felt upgraded and new. I wished the pools and beach were a bit larger. "The room is very smelly and the beddings and pillow cases are used as well as the towels. Not new. There were stains by previous clients I should say. Smelly. No blanket at first so we contacted the owner. He came, gave us new blanket, pillow cases and towels. He brought air freshener and air spray as well. We we're not informed that the pool will be closed as well. We have no any way but to check out early,went home and book a swimming pool near our place instead."
