3 star Hotels in Margareten

The hotel was readily accessible from Meidling Train Station by taking any train on Tracks 1 or 2 headed in the direction of Maitzleindorfer Platz, one stop away. Tram/metro ticket required for journey available at TABAK stores in train station. Time stamp ticket in orange box before using escalator. Hotel is directly across street from Maitzleindorfer Platz station, less than 50 meters away with station elevators/stairs down and escalator/elevator up. Every location that I wanted to get to, Opera, St. Stephansdom, Hofberg Palace, Naschmarkt, Natural History and Art History Museums, Museum Platz, Musikverein, Mozart's House, Hundertwasserhaus, etc.were all available on TRAM 1-Dir. PRATER, {time stamp tickets in blue box on tram}, beneath the train station with stairs down, escalators/elevators up. Staff was very friendly and helpful with any directions that I needed, All spoke English/German well. Included Breakfast was great with a wide variety of hot cold dishes and drinks.Hotel was quiet from outside noise as I had a thrid floor room. Free WIFI worked very well. One free internet terminal in lobby. I stayed there one week.

Everything was according to expectations. Lovely stay and a plus was hotel staff! Only thing weird was the internet connection, it kept logging us off. Overall 9.6/10

Apartment was newly renovated: marble floor, new furniture, and so on. Location was good: 4 stops on tram to the Karl Platz - the point we started almost all our tours. Recommendation: remember the tram stop name because the tram goes underground and you will not recognize the place without knowing the stop name. We use Laurenzstrasse. It was very convenient. There is a big food store across the street and several small stores near by (bread store and small fruits/veggie store witch was opened very late and all the holidays). Apartment has very good kitchen with all the equipment (2 pots, frying pan, plates, caps, and so on). There is a stove, 4 burners, a hood, a fridge, and even a washer machine. Internet was very good. It was working all the time with very good speed. We will definitely recommend this apartment to all our friends. It is very clean, stylish, conveniently located, in old historical building (that is how we felt because of tall ceilings and almost meter thick walls). I can't wait to go back.

the space is nice and luminous. the kitchen is well equiped but it needs frying pans, for example, and some basic elements such as oil, coffee, tea, sugar, could be appreciated so one doesn't have to buy 1 kilo of sugar for having a morning coffee. The internet was not working when we arrived but the owners responded very promptly and solved it right away.

When I arrived, two other guests and I were informed by the polite young lady staffing the reception that we would be unable to check in until the receptionist returned from her break. This took about 15 minutes. Apart from this amazing experience, my stay was fine: clean room, good receptio area, etc. As I noly slept there (room quiet) I cannot comment on the other facilities. The location half-way between two U-Bahn stations was irritating when I left with a much heavier suitcase. The hotel is difficult to see from a distance.
