You can stay in this cottage and opt for a 2hour shikara cruise. It will be much more economical than a houseboat stay. And there are plenty of shikara options available right next to the resort. The property sits right on the water. The rooms are spacious. The food was wonderful. They helped me coordinate a canoe ride through the backwaters. In order to get to the property in this prime location, the car ride is on a small dirt road at the end."
