Very kind and helpful staff, although we had issues with room cleanliness. Seems like an older hotel that smelled of mildew with sticky restroom floors and damp carpet. The odor was tolerable after airing out the room.

I liked the location of Hotel M’s nearby Kyoto Station. I also liked the nearby restaurants and Family mart to grab some late night snacks. Loved it!!!

The hotel is clean and staffs are very nice The room size is ok as a japan hotel. There are only two sets of washer and dryer, but we had no problem with that. Overall it is great value. The only down side is no breakfast.
