The hotel is very very nice. The front lobby area is very inviting and stylish. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Although it is on the smaller size the amenities weren’t lacking. The rooftop pool and bar are very nice and convenient. It was pretty warm when we stayed and it was nice being able to cool off. There isn’t enough shade on the roof and I would recommend the hotel add umbrellas for when you need to cool off a bit. The bar and restaurant were very nice too. Just beware when they book out the spaces for events etc it gets pretty crowded and loud. Thank goodness we had a room on a high level to where it was so loud for us. The studio king room was amazing. Lots of space and very stylish. We loved everything about the hotel and will be booking again. We loved it so much we looked up the chain of hotels and look forward to staying at the one in California in Santa Monica as well as their Mexico locations. We would highly encourage our family and friends to book here.

This isn’t my first time at this property. In fact I suggested VICEROY DC to my friend group for a weekend of R&R. Most of my expectations were met, but I have to point out the main reason for my booking was to utilize the pool. There was wedding taking place & the pool was shutdown early… there was no mention of this at check-in or prior to booking. We were extremely disappointed by this information considering that was main reason for our stay. The resort credit should have been waived to all guest.
