This is a charming hotel in a historical building. We loved everything about it except the shower. It was very hard to shower. The front desk staff were just OK. There was a young man from Pakistan who was excellent. The breakfast food, service and dinning room was very good. We will stay here again.

The staff were nice, but remember to bring your passport with you to check in. The issue I had was the smell in the elevator and also in our bathroom. Breakfast was ok.

My husband and I celebrated my 65th birthday in Croatia and spend the end of our trip with four beautiful days in Venice. We are so pleased with the hotel and its magical location right next door to St. Marks Square, the canal and Gondolas. From our room window was the canal and the pick up point for the gondolas. We were also in the heart of all the high-end shopping and fabulous restaurants. We highly recommend this hotel.

Was a great place to stay! Super close to the water, but a bit of a walk from the water taxi. We got a view of the canal, but it was a side view. We got the room that’s separated from the main hotel, but we actually liked it better because it was more secure and the rooms were bigger. Had good AC, but the drain was a bit clogged after showers, but eventually cleared.
