"Stayed near JFK airport for the night before heading into Manhattan, as we arrived at night. My first time ever in NYC. Always heard that New Yorkers are not friendly, yet every staffer at this Courtyard by Marriott has been kind and friendly. A great start to our trip! Only complaint is I wish beds were queen rather than double (our son is with us so two beds necessary)."

"Not only was the water from the shower head going in ever direction because it was so gross from lack of cleaning, but there were 2 cockroaches found in the bathroom. The beds were comfortable, but since the bathroom was not clean I would have to question the cleanliness of the beds. I'm just glad this was a one night layover or I would have sought another place to sleep! I can't say too much for the staff as we only spoke with the front desk girl who was nice enough. Seriously, I'm not sure...

"The room was very comfortable. With the change in the weather, the A/C and heater worked perfectly. The water pressure in the shower was great. The only negative was that the TV was ROKU which did not carry channels I enjoy watching such as TBS, USA, TNT etc. "
