"Okay this is an older property. The area around the property is not good there's lots of homeless staying on the street behind it and things like that. But there's No problem on this property They have a security guard at the gate 24/7 checking to make sure you're a guest before you come on to the property. We had a room with a king size bed, The bed was totally comfortable. The room we had had like really high ceilings. A giant TV with satellite all kinds of channels to watch. We would stay here again. "

"I think for the area it’s very beautiful and worth the price. I must admit the area it’s around isn’t the best but once you pass the bridge it’s really nice. Staff was nice at check in and make your stay comfortable. Rooms looked clean and new. I only stayed for the night as a emergency but I would stay there if I planned on going to Oakland again. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch with a couple of different snacks and food. Not too big but enough to enjoy. We had breakfast outside looking at the lovely view of water, looking towards at the city of Alameda. The only think I wasn’t so please was $17 for parking. Other hotels if they do charge (because most don’t) will charge about 5$ or 10$ max. Other than that, it was a great stay."

"Excellent location walking distance to many restaurants and also the Greek Theater where we attended a concert. Staff very friendly and pleasant. Despite close to a busy neighboring business area... the hotel was very wuiet"
