Housekeeping was awful. The bathroom was left dirty. They didn't clean coffee that has spilled on the floor and tub. Didn't leave a full set of towels. Three of the electrical outlets didn't work. Needed an electrician to come to replace the electrical outlets in the bathroom.

I was in room 2001, the toilet runs constantly. They should provide at least 4 towels for 2 persons. The bath tub shower was OK, no water pressure. The bathroom vent does not turn off, so it is noisy in the bedroom. The guest room was dark, not enough light in the room.
The location was perfect. The subway is right there. It’s about a 15 minute walk to Broadway/Times Square. Staff were helpful. We felt safe.
The room was dated. Instead of normal light switches, they were these touch pads that were finicky to use.
Because of proximity to stuff and subway, we would stay here again.
This is a nice hotel in the middle of downtown New York, with easy access to Times Square, Bryant park, Empire state building and many other places. The prices at the property are very high and I cannot that the staff made us to feel welcomed. I only got a smile, when I tipped them, but otherwise...

The overall property was extremely nice and well kept. The ambiance of the lobby and welcoming of luggage storage made a nice touch while awaiting the room.
The restaurant staff was the highlight of my stay, buffet in the am and restaurant/bar at dinner, both great, friendly, welcoming. My room had a leak from the shower that they tried to fix but was never completed as it kept leaking out. Front desk made no effort to compensate in any way after being in the hotel for a week.
There wasn't anything other than location that we liked about this hotel.
We didn't like the small uncomfortable rooms that we paid for especially given the prices we paid.
Location was great for walking or if you're taking the subway. The staff were very nice and helpful. Our room had issues with our bathroom and closet doors which we got help with and I think there may have been a bit of mildew on the bathroom ceiling. The stay overall was good and the hotel otherwise is nice.

Location was very convenient and the property was very clean. But I was very surprised at the lack of amenities considering this is a Hyatt. Little things that collectively added up. No coffee pot. Not even a pad of paper and a pen. No restaurant or bar and therefore no room service - just a minimal coffee bar. And no cups in the room. No cups? No glass or plastic cups in the bathroom? Does that actually save money?

Hotel was not as expected. I don’t think rooms are suitable for 4 Star rankings. We booked two rooms and both rooms were not as expected and in two different floors, It was so hard for our family. Convenient store inside the hotel is a big scam. 1 ltr water is $7.49. Stores close by were selling same water in $2.50 or so.

Honestly there are better hotels with better service. Stay at the hilton or a fancier hotel. it is the same price -
bathroom was stinking
staff were rude at times
they want an additional charge on top of the booking amount
they try to scam you with the marketplace if you are not careful

Upon check in we were told that they would call us when the room was ready. I’m glad we decided to just go off and explore rather than wait close by because the call never came. On the plus side, they do hold your bags at no cost so that was lucky. The room was adequately sized for the 3 of us with two double beds but there were no luggage racks so the room was made smaller with 3 suitcases on the floor (nowhere to store the clothes). The safe didn’t work. The bathroom was in need of some TLC, and a longer shower curtain so that water didn’t go all over the floor. Overall it wasn’t terrible - the location was ideal, right next to Grand Central Station - but things just kept adding up and adding up which kind of lessened the whole experience. Not what I am used to with Hyatt but you live and learn. Buy your own drinks - not from the market onsite.

The room was a little old. The bathtub did not drain very well and by the time your shower was done you were standing in a foot of water. Also was disappointed that the maid service never gave refilled the hansdoap in the bathroom.

Took 15 minutes of running hot water until I got some. Some car alarm was going from 2 am to 6am on the street outside of room.
