So it looks nothing like the pictures, it looks like an old apartment complex that they turned into a hotel, the tub was dirty and the paint was chipped, the carpet was old and stained. We stayed 3 nights and they never cleaned our room after we asked. The front desk staff was inadequate with helping us after our complaints. It took forever to get towels and they brought them in a trash bag. I called corporate

I like that the property was only about a 10 or 15 min walk from some shops and close to restaurants. Although the breakfast that they serve isnt a great variety, the point ia that they do serve breakfast unlike some other hotels or you have to pay for the breakfast. I didn't like that the walls are thin enough that I could hear the conversations next door, some that were not pleasant, especially for a person of color to hear.

Although I did not receive the room I requested, I found that the assigned room worked out. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The hotel overall was clean. The breakfast did not vary a lot but was good nevertheless. It was always hot and fresh. The hotel is away from the French Quarter's noise and near a few very good restaurants and clubs. Overall I would recommend this hotel as long as you don't need an onsite restaurant or bar. I was a good choice.
