"The staff at the hotel is friendly and welcoming. Hotel is clean, rooms are spacious with a view of the mountains. Food is good though breakfast is severely limited. I find the hotel is over priced considering their are plenty more hotels in Manali which offer better services and rooms. If you book in advance you will be able to find more price worthy options. "

"This hotel had such promise, nice communal areas, large rooms and in a good location close to the town center. However, not only was the food very expensive and not of a high quality, this hotel was so cold and had such poor heating. "Had booked The Himalayan on a friends advise and I must say it was an amazing, out of the world stay for 4 nights . Just as in the pictures it gives a real feel of staying in a castle . The rooms were quite big and beds most comfortable. Of course the view from the windows of the snow capped mountains and Manali town below was just too good to be true. The property with beautiful gardens, a pool & cottages around it made us feel so relaxed and we felt bad when our stay was about to end. The persons at the reception were most polite and helpful to all our queries about how and where to visit around Manali. Every evening they had a map for us with all places marked out for our visits the next day. Of course I must mention the breakfast spread and few meals we had for dinner, just amazing. We will definitely come back & stay here again for our next visit. Thank you The Himalayan for making our holidays special."
