"This was our first time here. WOW! My husband and I absolutely love it here! It was so perfect, we booked an additional night! We had the panoramic oceanfront king suite. Impressed! Huge bathroom with a beautiful shower; kitchenette, closet, foyer, living area with couch, huge oceanfront balcony with NO cautions of any kind in front of you! Has a comfy futon-ish couch & chair on balcony. I ended up sleeping on the balcony every night LOL. The staff was incredibly friendly & helpful. Convenient!...

"Great hotel and location. You won't be disappointed. The staff was genuinely friendly and excited to connect. The hotel is very clean. (and we are picky about that, so thank you Springhill Carlsbad.) Rooms are comfortable. The rooftop patio has views of the ocean, fire pits, bar, etc. Easy walking access to the beach, downtown Carlsbad, and lots of great food venues. We would definitely stay here again. "

"The check in process was the only positive thing about this hotel. We had originally planned to stay here for 5 nights, but after the first night we checked out. I found someone’s shareware hung over the shower, hair in the bathtub, so I assume the bathroom was not cleaned at all after the last quests had been there. "The area was safe, quiet and close to a shopping center. The elevators were not functioning, though. Only one elevator was working which made access a little slower. Breakfast was excellent. "
