Good range of services and facilities overall, but would be better if car-parking space could be reserved in advance as we chose this hotel on the basis that we would be able to park overnight, but the spaces were all taken before our scheduled check-in time.

This hotel was right across from the castle and down the street from all the shopping streets and restaurants. The staff was really helpful and they even gave me a room with a view. The hotel lobby entrance is grand and the bed was so comfy and duvet was the perfect weight. I even liked the bathtub, despite it being a bit narrow but it was long enough I could have a good soak at the end of a busy day. Great hotel, Id definitely recommend this and stay here again.

Very grubby and run down, not impressed with any aspect whatsoever both lifts out of order which was a problem as I suffer with a bad back so not even a complementary drink offered even when we suggested it! Manager Ashley totally clueless we would never stay there again even if it was free!!

The hotel was lovely to stay at and the staff were very kind, helpful and delightful, the location was also very convenient for the shops and local restaurants, I would stay here again.
