"Great hotel. Very quiet and peaceful. The room looked out onto the lake which was beautiful at sunset. Room was big and clean with a huge bathroom. The room also had a connecting living rooms and kitchen area. Tasty breakfast which we could look out over the lake as well. Would stay again."

"The villas are beautiful and comfortable but need maintenance which is difficult due to the climate and the size of the property. The service is very good. Cleaning could improve. With a little more care than the above, the hotel could be very good. The only thing that is very wrong is that they have 3 poor roosters locked up and suffering all day and night in 3 tiny cages. This is cruelty!!! Also when people take vacations they like to sleep late and the roasters woke up us at 5:00. Please let...

"This hotel is quite bad - water was leaking from the ceiling, bathroom is horrible, bed not comfortable, the staff slept on a mattress in the middle of the lobby area, a dog was crying all night long. Lucky us we only stay there few hours, before going to an early morning hike to Mt Batur volcano. I'll recommend to stay in another hotel or even in Ubud and waked up 1h earlier."

"This is a unique place - right inside the water palace - but it is in need of some improvements. Our room (pool villa) smelled a little moldy and things seemed a bit dated. We paid extra for the "free breakfast" option but had a very aggressive server at the restaurant insist that we had to pay. "Overall, our favourite hotel in Bali despite the weather (unfortunately it was rainy season). The resort is amazing. The staff are very helpful. We stayed quite far from the front so the golf carts were available to help take us around. When you first walk into the room you're greeted by an amazing bathroom and coffee bar.
