Dubai-based Emirates Airline recently revealed that it would double its current number of flights to Seychelles, which significantly increases the options that Indian travelers have for flight connections.
The full schedule will not come into effect until the winter, but the carrier expects to begin servicing 12 flights per week between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Seychelles on March 28. Two additional flights will commence later in the year.
"The increase in frequency is the fruit of all our efforts and investment in promoting the Seychelles across our network," Majid Al Mualla of Emirates said in a statement. "The increasing number of tourists will welcome these additional flights as they will have more travel options and better connectivity."
Those who are members of Emirates' Skywards loyalty program will have the opportunity to build and redeem rewards points on these flights, as well as their connecting flights in the carrier's Dubai hub.
Emirates currently operates a young and modern fleet of nearly 140 Airbus and Boeing aircraft to more than 100 destinations across the globe.
