Loyal customers of American Airlines flights (AA) can look forward to a more comfortable experience next year.
For those passing through San Francisco International Airport (SFO), the airline is relocating to Terminal 2 and will offer a new Admiral's Club Lounge.
The new terminal will feature more ticket counters and self-service machines, as well as more security lanes for a faster, less stressful check in. Business travelers can also enjoy free WiFi and a larger seating area with electrical outlets for laptops and other electronics. American also plans to offer a variety of shopping and dining areas.
The Admiral's Club is a program for company VIPs, which often includes those who use the airline frequently for business travel. Indian members making their way through the SFO lounge will have a business center, cyber cafe, a private spa and a TV lounge.
AA plans to build its new terminal according to U.S. Green Building Council standards to achieve the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Designs program certification.
Relocation to the new terminal is expected to be complete by next spring.
