Take a trip to the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay to come face to face with fascinating sea creatures. Or go up the towering Stratosphere to try the exhilarating, record-breaking free-fall ride. Head out of town meanwhile and you can explore the magnificent Grand Canyon, a truly spectacular sights and on the list of natural wonders of the world.

As well as all the fun and games, Las Vegas offers a real paradise experience for shoppers too, with designer boutiques and malls that make it a retail heaven to match metropolises like New York and Los Angeles. Head for the Forum Shops set in truly sumptuous surroundings inspired by Ancient Rome, to see what is on offer and go window shopping in the famous outlets. Then when you've explored the shops and found bargains to take back home, stop off for a bite to eat at one of the famous all-you-can-eat buffets or the wide range of fine-dining restaurants.

The city's incredible themed casino hotels that sit along the Las Vegas Strip have to be explored too, wherever you decide to stay. Explore Ancient Rome at Caesars Palace or be transported to Italy in the winding canals of The Venetian; enjoy a cocktail at the top of the Eiffel Tower at the Paris Hotel, see the Mirage's erupting volcanoes, or admire the iconic skyline of the city that never sleeps at New York New York.
