Good but disturbed by noise on hot nights
The location of this property is very good - right next to a tram stop, a short walk to Zurich Enge station (direct trains to airport and shops), and within easy walking distance of Zurich See (lake). It is in a pleasant neighbourhood which felt safe. The apartment was clean and the cooking facilities a great way to stay in this very expensive city in a more economical manner. The only criticism was that it lacks air con and whilst it had a ceiling fan it was largely ineffective. Consequently on the hot days that we stayed we had to have to windows open all night which meant little sleep because of the noise of trams, other traffic and people outside. For this we deduct two points. If you are going at a cooler period I guess this wouldn't be an issue.

The location, hygiene, comfort and the equipment with the kitchen niche are many advantages which we offer in the city centre of Zurich. We had very hot days in Zurich again. It is true that we do not have air conditioning in the apartments. We never communicated the equipment either. We offer fans for this purpose, although we also know that these do not have the same effect as air conditioning systems. The next time you can also contact us at reception. Great serviced apartment
Great little apartment, very easy to check in and very convenient for lake Zurich - which is a couple of minutes away. Convenient for the local train station and the city. Fully equipped, very hot inside and quite cosy.

We landed at Zurich airport at 10.30 p.m. and got to the Seestrasse Apartments Drei Koenige at 11.00 p.m. and had to got to the Hotel Ascot, 5 minutes from the Apartments to check-in and get the keys, information that was not available when I booked nor communicated to me ahead of the trip. The apartment we had was clean but is right by the street and even though not really noisy, still not very well isolated soundwise, so you can hear the traffic (Tram & cars). It is not a serious issue but when you travel for work, it matters. Overall, the stay was fine. Yet I can't stay it was great.

Great stay but the hotel ascot places a hold on the credit card that shows up as the grand Fujiyan restaurant. I was not aware of the connection and ended up cancelling my card because I thought it was a fraudulent charge.

Very good location. Tram #7 stops right in from of the house and takes you to the center in 10min. Check in, luggage storage and restaurante service are offered by the FIFA Aston Hotel. Apartment was spacious and clean

Good place to stay! Alone or with your family are all nice. It will be a good choice. I stayed alone for three nights but felt much comfortable and cosy. Its location was fascinating and doing laundry at its basement was free (but you should buy detergent). And near the apartment, you can walk to Zürich lake and can enjoy swimming, sunbathing or doing anything like that. But you should check in at another place, a hotel. I forget its name but it is far around 2 blocks from the apartment. Except the detachment of check-in place, I really, really, really satisfied and enjoyed my stayings at this apartment.

My favorite place to stay for business tavel
An excellent place to stay if you are looking to be close to the offices near Enge. They are always accommodating when I've arrived late and were happy to provide an extra fan for me when I was there in the summer heat. Close to the lake and a small grocery store inside Bahnhof Enge. Whenever I need to travel for business, this is where I stay.

Decent stay in cooler months/above ground floor
Check-in was at a different (but near enough) location, with a friendly face at the Ascot reception. My apartment (No. 2) was on the ground floor, no air conditioning (a rather worthless ceiling fan), and windows facing the street/tram stop. Only option to avoid the heat was to leave the windows tilted, but the trafic/trams/passengers noise will keep most people awake. Room was decent/clean enough with good pillows, though rather oldfashioned. Kitchen had the basics there — minibar, utensils, simple coffee machine and so on. Big plus was the good shower pressure (in a “glass enclosed” bathtub), something not as common as one would think... If not for the noise/heat, I would recommend it — so long as the rate is under $140 and you’re out of better options.

Reasonable place for the price
The apartment is a nice size & equip with a small kitchen, and a coffee machine. I enjoy the 15mins stroll to the city centre and Old Town. On the flip side, check-in 3 streets down the road at the hotel is rather troublesome, especially when you have a huge luggage in toll. It is also quite noisy as the building is right next to the main street and tram. Overall, the apartment delivers good on its price, will consider staying again.

A small compact apartment which was clean and tidy. it is ideally situated, a 5 min walk to the lake. The tram stop into the city is outside the building. Our apartment had a small balcony which although it looked out onto the road was a very nice place to sit.

Good location and very good property with British TV channels funnily enough !!!! Fabulous shower as well. It is an apartment so they do not clean or make beds at weekends!

Great spot for the price, especially for business trips, as it is walking distance to most insurance offices. Nice small kitchen to cook in case you want to avoid the generally high restaurant prices.

- Had central heating so was cold some nights - no extra blankets in the room - room was VERY small for the price (IKEA room) - room was clean - room needed some heavy duty black out curtains (only had light sheer ones) - stayed here because was convenient to where I was working - Good, trolly stop was right on the street in front (Rietberg Museum?) - Bad, at least if you are in front rooms you hear the trolleys all night - bed was so-so, small (but what do you expect in Europe) - staff very friendly at Ascot Hotel (by the way that is where you check-in/out)

we stayed in a studio apartment that was perfect for a few days. Had our stay been longer, we might have wanted the larger apartment. We enjoyed a picnic dinner in the courtyard in the side yard. Very nice. Our room faced the street and the noise of the tram woke us up a few times during the night - we are not used to city noises. Other than that, the apartments are located in a quiet and lovely neighborhood. The hotel staff was fabulous, especially helping us track and recover the bags that the airline misplaced for 2 day. And they directed us to local stores where we could buy the necessary clothes to get by. I would return to this hotel if ever I were in Zurich again.

Inexpensive quiet apartment, right at a tram stop,
If you want a "hotel" (front desk, room service, dining room, a spa), this is not for you. If you want an inexpensive apartment that is convenient, spotless, quiet and up-to-date, then I honestly recommend the Seestrasse Drei Koenig. It is *not* luxurious, it is a generic Swiss apartment (and is a short walk from the hotel with which it is affiliated). If you spend your days or nights watching TV and/or lounging about, eating in the hotel restaurant, then this is not for you. If, on the other hand, you sleep in your room and are out during the day, this is great (and you can cook your own dinner in your room if you like(. I have stayed here on 4 separate trips, and it is my go-to location in Zurich. The B2 is modern and upscale, the Engimatt is less modern and also very nice, and the Sihlcity hotel is a hotel - and all are *much* more expensive and offer amenities that I don't need on a working trip. The Drei Koenig Apartments is good quality, solid, no-nonsense, preiswert and perfect for my needs.

The room was spacious, very clean with a very small TV screen. Street noise was very pronounced as the trams run throughout the night. The kitchenette is small and electrical outlets are not located in convenient places. There is one outlet for the old two-pronged plug and the rest are for the new three-pronged plug adapter. The staff is very professional and very friendly at the Hotel Ascot which manages this apartment building. There is about a 10- minute walk from the hotel to the apartment, Laundry facilities are free and open M-F. The cleaning personnel are exceptionally good. The train station at Enge is within easy walking distance and costs just 6,60 franks to get to the airport or central train station. The studio was quite expensive but then again so is Switzerland. Bathtub walls too high for shorter or older people.

Excellent stay. Convenient in terms of local amenities. Although the room is compact, it contains all the necessary comforts. Could have done with a toaster. Apart from that, really enjoyed it. I was very impressed with the cleanliness.

The room was clean, nice and new. The price was unbeatable for the area, which is quiet, close to downtown, and near the train station Enge. You should know that this house is associated with the Hotel Ascot near by (without the amenities, hence the great price), so the quality of rooms is reliable. My room was 'European sized', but big enough to accommodate two people and their luggage (and a rolled out yoga mat :-). Having a kitchenette was super convenient, especially given Zurich's restaurant prices! Also, you need to check in *at the hotel*, not the apartment house.

Clean room and fairly spacious. I sadly don't really have too much good to say as most this were just fine. Not great but ok. Bad points were for a single booking they gave me a twin room rather than a double bed. Paper thin walls made the stay feel quite public. No black out curtains in yellow so very bright in the morning and right next to a tram stop and main road made it quite noisy. Lastly the check-in was back down the road a few hundred meters which wasn't stated in the description and with heavy bags that was quite annoying.
