Spacious and clean accommodation
Easy to find, plenty of parking and in a quiet location. The building is shared between it's elderly residents and paying guests. Keys to the rooms were in named envelopes on the front desk. Spacious, clean room with balcony and well equipped kitchen area.

The room was empty of furniture apart from the beds (and one was missing), it felt like walking into a mortuary room. Nobody was there to welcome us, and we only met with the personel from the retirement home with which the building is shared. When requesting for the missing bed, we were told it'd arrive at 8:30PM (good point, it actually arrived earlier), but we also requested additional blankets, which arrived at 10PM (when everybody was already sleeping!) Overall a pretty unpleasant experience, we had booked for 2 nights and only stayed one.

Excellent as a base to tour
Excellent - just right for us . Nice view from balcony - everything spit-spot - and going to the facilities. Probably would not suit children .

Nice building but two major problems for me
The room is spacious and has an individual balcony. The self-catering facilities for preparing food are adequate and so is the bathroom. The room was hot and I had to leave the window/balcony door open to cool it which meant that flies and debris from the landscaping facility opposite would come in. The room lost its stars because of two problems: 1. Cleaning. I was there a week and the towels replaced and the rubbish was emptied once, on the second day. The floors were not cleaned at all until the second last day when I requested it because I found a largish dead spider in the middle of the floor (where had it been, what killed it?). I had bought a dustpan and brush because I had been self-catering with yummy, crusty French bread, but that was not adequate. The hotel should either clean more often or provide guests with a broom or vacuum. 2. The second problem was the door lock. I could not get the door to open from the outside on the first day and had to get staff from reception to do so. It worked OK until the second last day when I had to ask staff again to let me in. I was in the furthest room on the top floor and it was very inconvenient - even if I was closer to reception it would have been inconvenient. The lock required some sort of hand shimmy which I could never get but obviously the staff were used to it. I ended up not leaving my room until I packed to leave the next day in order to avoid this problem. So please fix the lock Zenao.

Bonjour Madame Vous êtes arrivée un mardi et l'entretien ménager a lieu tous les deux jour malheureusement nous n'avons pas d'équipe d'entretien le week end c'est pour cela qu'il n'était pas prévu le week end mais une intervention a été faite le jeudi Cordialement

Je viens regulierement dans cet etablissement. La proprete est satisfaisante mais cette fois il n'y avait pas de liquide vaiselle dans le distributeur de la kitchenette. Les employés m'ont dépanné rapidement.

Un deuxième séjour réussi.
Accueil parfait, personnel de service poli, aimable et ponctuel pour le service du petit déjeuner. Chambre propre, très calme, la vue sur la campagne est appréciable. L'hôtel est bien situé par rapport à la ville et aux divers accès routiers.

Aufenthalt war ok.
Leider bin ich ausserhalb der Öffnungszeiten erschienen und die Rezeption von dem Altenheim war nicht mehr besetzt. War aber kein Problem. Das Zimmer war im Erdgeschoss. Je nach Uhrzeit konnte man den Heimbewohner beim Fernsehen oder beim Essen zuschauen. Leider keinen getrennten Zugang zu den Zimmern. Zimmerausstattung ziemlich spärlich ausgestattet. 3 Gabeln 3 Messer 3 Löffel, ein Wokpfanne und ein Topf (Gläser und Tassen auch). Der Aufenthalt war ok aber auch nicht mehr.
