The thermal pools are really fun. They were doing construction on a new area. Noisy, but it didn't affect using the pools that were open. The staff was nice, hotel was clean, but has been a while since last renovation.

Nice setting with the Thermal baths. Unfortunately, use of the sauna and jacuzzi costs extra for Expedia clients, even if these appear on the amenity list with no mention of the additional charge

Baths are nice but rooms are old
Rooms are old, the bed was not comfortable and the walls are thin so you hear a lot of noises. The baths are the only reason I would stay there, but even so, I do not think I will return on my next visit to the area.

This is a 1 star hotel in terms of service, not the 4 stars it claims to be. Staff in restaurant is rude beyond anything I have experienced in many years. We were denied entry to the restaurant for dinner. We waited for an hour to get a drink on the patio outside. We got screamed at breakfast because we asked for silverware. Additionally they tried to charge us twice for the same room, once at arrival and once at departure. Also All thermal pools were closed. Hotel smells of chlorine. I stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world in the past decade, and would not recommend this one.

My family and I are really enjoy staying in this hotel especially the thermal pool very relaxing, although the day we arrive and the next day which is the raining day, it doesn’t stop us to enjoy the facilities. One day stay is not enough, next time I will stay here at least two days. Breakfast is great. Very nice and professional staff.

Love this hotel, however they use the hotel pool for kids swimming lessons from 3pm to 7pm . So, tones of screaming 3 to 5 year old kids jumping on your head accompanied by arrogant swimming coaches.

This Hotel has no air conditioning, unable to get a meal or any kinds of food before 5pm, I never got my room upgrade, the safe broke, took 3 days before someone assisted. However, beautiful dining room, and pool area, walking distance from city Center.

+: Courteous staff, lots of free parking, good buffet breakfast, direct access to the baths. Nice location 15mins walk from the pretty town of Yverdon. The rooms are dated but clean. -: Only partial entry to the baths is included. The spa area with sauna, hammam, whirlpools cost 10.- p.p. per day extra. This is because we didn't book directly with the hotel and wasn't made clear enough at check-in. The baths themselves are not comparable with others in Switzerland, such as Lavey or Saillon. Very limited choice in restaurant so we didn't eat there; the bar is overpriced and was disappointing.

The "grand hotel style", the classic architecture Easy access to Thermalbad plus the big and heated hotel pool. ... unfortunately without Jaccuzzi jets.

Great thermal pools. Can’t have food or drink out by pools, a beverage would be nice. No AC in room and cools if open window but road noise was bad

We paid for a double bed room but got a single room. Small bed, only one set of each (towel, bathrob, pillow etc). When claiming they insisted it is a double room and didn’t feel sorry at all. The room itself is ok, but a (mouldered). Breakfast is until 10.30, we came 9.30 and there were no more coffee cups, no glasses, no more bred, butter was gone. It seems the employed were overstrained with the work. In summary, we are disappointed with almost everything considering the amount we paid

Very nice hotel
The hotel was lovely. The service was outstanding and the rooms, while basic, were clean and comfortable with complimentary water and toiletries provided. The only minor point I would say is there's no kettle or any tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. The hotel pool was warm and peaceful while the public spa had great facilities but was very busy. It's better to go early in the morning if you don't like crowds. Breakfast was great!

What a wonderful property? Most courteous, friendly welcome. After a long drive it was very welcome to hear " Let us get you settled in your room, we will take care of passports etc once you have refreshed" The dinner was "SUPERB" The taste and fragrance of "Fresh herbs crusted lamb fillet" cooked Rose' is still persisting!! Entry to Thermal Spa is an extra that we recommend most highly.

A nice little find.
Really enjoyed our stay and would return if in the area. For us a very nice place for a it of r&r. We had a large room that overlooked the pool, though as it is fairly close to a roundabout we probably wouldn't have cared for a room that overlooked that. A good bonus that we hadn't expected was free access to the thermal spa next door. Excellent continental breakfast. The room was a bit dated but that's not an issue for us. The be was really comfy but the pillows were either a bit too firm and thick, or a bit too soft, but not a major issue. The biggest downside to the hotel was a lack of air conditioning - with the temperatures in the high 20'sC it was quite uncomfortable during the night.

Hotel is attached to the thermal spas through a guest only hallway. Access to the thermal pools was included as many times as you would like. Private pool for guests of the hotel in addition. Service was outstanding. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Short walk to center of old town which had nice local shopping and historic area mixed with modern stores .
