Sorry everyone, but this is going to be harsh. I think we've all heard the phrase "spare no expense." I believe this place. It would read "spare all expense". Staying here is like the equivalent of flying in the cattle car section of the world's cheapest airline. The breakfast that was included in the stay had to be the worst breakfast I really have ever had, even for a budget hotel . The rooms were furnished with what appeared to be worn out furniture rejects from the local thrift store, that is what little furniture there was in the room. The hotel looks to be a hodgepodge of 3 or 4 former hotels that were combined into one and the owner's really have spent no money at all on the place with the obvious intent to maximize the number of people it can cram into a space, but spend zero attention to actually making the place at all welcoming or comfortable. Breakfast had consistently about a 100 people at any one time vying for the 5 small tables. Even they reception area was a gloomy, small forsaken desk planted in large barren room. The owners don't appear to care enough to even bother placing a cheap plastic plant there to even try to spruce it up. I will say on the brightside, if there is any, the staff were very friendly and quite helpful kudos to them. I feel sorry for them that they have owners who are such obvious uncaring scrooges..

Room not available at 3pm checkin. Was told housekeeping works an 8 hr day which ends at 5:30pm, so prepaid room not ready until then. Was given a substitute room with unsecured door and couple in next room was high and stumbled in/out of room. Checked out and found a much better accommodation. Miners Inn doesn't meet 1 star review.

The Miner’s Inn is a great deal if you don’t mind staying at an older property with limited amenities. We picked it because we wanted something clean, affordable, and relatively close to Yosemite (and something that didn’t involve camping). The only thing I actively disliked was the bedding. It was old and pretty thin. But as a clean place to sleep, Miner’s Inn was a good value.

Stayed here for 3 nights as a base for a Yosemite trip and really enjoyed it. Location is nice and peaceful with a good amount of dining options nearby as well as a grocery store and a Chevron. Everything in town you can pretty much walk to and the Yarts stop is just right around the corner to easily get to Yosemite. Would recommend eating at Happy Burger Diner and getting some good customized coffee at The Coffee Shop next to the visitor center.

This was probably my 8th time staying here. The rooms have always been clean. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. I also feel it's a good value for what they provide.

Property is very old and dated and the rooms have a horrible smell to them. The staff is great and the food in the roadhouse is awesome!

Liked the cleanliness of the place. Staff was welcoming. Just two things that might require service. Might want to change the brackets that hold the shower curtain rod in place. They're rusted. And water wasn’t draining fast enough in the bathtub. Other than that, I did enjoy my stay and the included breakfast.

Overall, no major complains for a motel at this price range. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was appropriately provisioned. Location is great, easy parking. Will stay there again. Only con: the bathtub emptied very slowly, so much so that it half filled when taking a shower, but that was a minor inconvenience.

Wonderful 6 Night Stay
My photo tour stayed here for 6 nights and had a very enjoyable stay. Complimentary breakfast was good and they had something for everyone in the groups taste. Rooms were clean and well kept. We had slight mechanical problem with A/C in one room, but it was fixed promptly. We’ll definitely be back in the future.

They did not perform room service during thanks giving break. Moreover, they are not so good in cleanliness - we found someone’s pair of socks under the bed.

I liked: that it was in a convenient location (on our way to the nearby park), the free breakfast served each morning (yummy available options), the availability of both a hot tub and pool (the pool was too cold, and the hot tub was almost always occupied ;-(, the quietness of the area and simple drive into the small downtown area, the availability of the drying light inside the bathroom. I didn't like: the openness of the building. Neither of the outside doors closed, making the building accessible to anyone to come and go as they pleased (unsafe). On both our first and second nights we had a homeless man sleeping near the stairway near our room door.

it´s a good hotel, very well located in Mariposa, 40 minutes away from the Yosemite main entrance.The rooms are good, maybe with little money can improve the towels and bed decoration. the breakfast is free. its good

We got really good deal, Nice classic hotel located about one hour drive from either entrance of the Yosemite National Park. The drive is scenic and we deemed that it was worth booking here and not in the valley. The interior of the rooms is a bit classic but you are only here to sleep anyway. Staff is very friendly and nice and helpful and breakfast service includes fresh waffles, which is unbeatable ;-) Nice beds and large fridge made the stay complete for a cheaper price in that nice location.

Extremely disappointed.
Our rooms heater did not work, and toilet was continuously running. Went to call the front office, the phone didn't work. Walked to the front desk and the girl could not move us into a new room. She called various people for help but was unable to fix it. Told her we would be heading out to Yosemite Park and hopefully by the time we got back the issue would be resolved. We got back later that night, and they were able to move us, but the rooms were dated, carpet had a "humid" feel to it and the shower was stained with mildew., The restaurant across the way was very unfriendly, they advertised a free cup of coffee for veterans, which I am, and they did not honor it. My wife was extremely disappointed, hoping to celebrate veterans day. Almost ruined the weekend for us.

Nice big room with convenient location near lots of food and Mariposa's downtown area. Our family was very comfortable here. My only complaint would be the amount of grounds in the coffee which truly was excessive.
