Top Yellowstone National Park Hotel Reviews

Canyon Lodge & Cabins - Inside the Park
6/10 Okay
"Good- location and that is all you are getting! Just know that the park hotel is very poorly staffed with brand new employees who know as little as you do about the park and lodge. We didn't get to check into our room until 6 bc linens had not been delivered on time per management. They had no idea that the first floor of our lodge was in the basement without an elevator And my mother couldn't use stairs. Took multiple conversations to get a room in a building with an elevator Our room was actually very clean and cute but dated. We went to the front desk for coffee and new towels as no one ever serviced our room and the front desk had neither. A young lady finally showed up at 8 pm with linens only bc she couldn't find/didn't have coffee. One bit of confusion/ no microwaves. Not even a communal one which would have been very helpful. Does have an ice machine."

Stage Coach Inn
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay at Stage Coach Inn. The location is very convenient, just minutes from the West Entrance of Yellowstone, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was clean and comfortable, and the rustic charm of the property added to the overall experience. The breakfast spread was good and provided a great start to our day before exploring the park. We would happily stay here again."

Grant Village - Inside the Park
4/10 Poor
"Tried to give this place grace, unfortunately we have run out. Came into our room to find someone else’s used towels in our bathroom. Let the front desk know & chalked up to “oh they probably forgot to close the door to see that”. Okay. Requested our room be properly cleaned the next day. Then there was dirt underneath the blankets they place at the end of the beds. Strike 2. Then we put our kids in the shower & found hair all over the shower stall, & someone else’s box of soap still in there. Our shower was NOT cleaned & I am sorry, but for $330/night, our shower should AT LEAST be cleaned. Got in bed at 10:30pm & our sheets were stained, a giant yellow spot on one side, stains all over the sheets, pillow cases were yellow. We asked for room service to come change our sheets because I draw the line at sleeping in filth. Overall, I would never recommend staying here & it just makes me question staying in the national parks lodging all together, especially for the price. We are incredibly bummed & know they could be doing better. Double beds for a family is not ideal, and when you can see the queen size head board behind it, it makes you wonder why that changed. Unfortunately, once our beds were remade, the yellow sheets did not change. Just gross. Dust all over everything. It is TINY. Photos make it look brighter and more roomy. You hear everything around and above you. Photos show a keurig, it is not. We are so sad :("

Yellowstone Westgate Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Staff was very friendly and room was cozy. We would stay here again."

Old Faithful Inn - Inside the Park
2/10 Terrible
"After prepaying around 3k for only two nights and two rooms and after a long day of traveling from the East Coast, my family was greeted by a sour-faced woman named Sandra who abruptly just said, "You want to check in?" with no smile and a blank stare. She continued to respond with a harsh rudeness to any questions we had. At one point she was argumentative. We had no congenial welcome whatsoever! The door knob to both of our rooms was loose, making it such an ordeal both to get in and out. In one room we couldn't close the bathroom door or we needed to call someone to help get it open. We did not stay in the main older section because we needed a bathroom in the room. The walls are so thin that we could hear conversations and more from beside us and even the floor above us. The beds are old and particularly uncomfortable. We also made reservations at the overpriced dining room (that had few menu options) where, aside from a basic burger, we had forgettable meals that cost us far too much. The attraction for this place is in the history of it, yet one should stay anywhere else but here at Yellowstone. We will never stay here again."

Blue Buffalo Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Love this place. Only 30 min from West Yelllowstone had a great time."

Mammoth Hot Springs & Cabins - Inside the Park
10/10 Excellent
"I was nervous about staying in a "cabin" within the park but the room was lovely, well attained, and comfortable. We had a nice sleep in a peaceful space. The only downside is the bathrooms/showers were a few steps outside of our cabin but they were easy to access and they were clean."

Starlite Yellowstone, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
8/10 Good
"Both elevators weren’t working. Property and service are very nice. Rooms were very nice. Gave free smores, free water on stairwell available some of the time elevators were out."

Kelly Inn West Yellowstone
