Very nice area to stay in with great beach access and beautiful ocean views from the rooms. If this were a regular hotel, I'd give it closer to a 3, maybe 4 star review, but considering this is supposed to be a "Resort", I'm unfortunately giving it 2. Our first day there was pretty normal, everything was good and we were treated well considering we were staying in one of the nicest rooms. However, as time went on, our service progressively got worse. Room service never came to clean our room despite us having the "Please Make Room" sign on our door, and being gone most of the day for 2 days.
We called for fresh towels the first day, and it was very smooth and easy. They had us leave dirty towels outside, and left clean towels later without any interruptions. However, the next day we asked for clean towels, they originally almost tried to have us come to the lobby to grab them, and when somebody did deliver them to us, they banged on the door 2 seperate times. I waited for them to just drop off our new towels and leave, but when I opened the door, the dirty towels were still there and they were halfway down the hall. When he gave me the towels he got uncomfortably close and seemed really rude and grumpy.
There also seemed to be an ant problem, which made the issue of them not cleaning our room a little bigger.
Lastly, there was an electronic fireplace, but it was so dim that you couldn't see it light up, and the heat smelled like it was burning.
I would not recommend here
