"Had to switch rooms due to smell (sewage and fish) and humidity. Others did as well. Resorts is old and not adult friendly. Wont keep kids out of the little “adult pool”. Alcohol is low shelf cheap headache recipe. Its just an old resort and not what weve seen from dreams riviera maya. Wouldnt stay again. Marina town is fun and cute little village with restaurants better than resort."

"I’ll start off by saying this resort has some of the best food I’ve ever had at any resort in multiple different countries. It’s that good. Every restaurant was amazing and making reservations was easy, the servers were attentive at all of them. Our rooms were gorgeous, each including a hot tub and a hammock on the balcony. Feel asleep there and it was everything. No smoking on the property except at the front or on the beach. The beach itself is a problem due to the sargassum. Very rocky where the resort is and not safe to swim in with the mess. However maybe in another season, and if they ever expand the beach, it would be a plus. Another thing is there isn’t much nightlife except on fifth avenue (which was a wonderful time) but requires you to spend money. Beware on fifth avenue as they charge fraudulent prices. Overall would come again as the pool, the drinks, the staff, the shows, and the pool parties were wonderful. Room was cleaned daily and 24 hour room service was appreciated. See you again Hyatt Vivid!"
