I stay regularly at this hotel and I generally have a great experience. However on this occasion I had an issue... Stayed for two nights, first night they had to change the room they offered since the door lock was not working and had to walk back to reception twice before being offered a room with a working door. Second night, after a long day of work, I was locked out of my room for over 40 minutes since the door lock was not working. They did not have a sense of urgency to resolve the matter, and once of their offers was to put me in another room for the night (without my belongins) which I found completely ridiculous. I'll stay again there since I have history, but if it was the first experience in the hotel it would have definitely been the last.

I did not like the lack of enthusiasm to promote tourism in the state. I arrived on a Thursday and I called the front desk to change the light in the bathroom on Sunday, I left almost a week later (Wednesday) morning and the light was still burned out.

We lost properties when cleaning room was made. They take off the sheets from the matress and our properties gone with them!!!... Poor profesionalism with the staff.

Great Location, staff not so friendly.
Nice hotel right on the entrance of Jalapa. In the main avenue. Easy access. Clean, nice rooms. Just ask for a room not facing the highway, since it´s kind of noisy. Staff are OK but could use more attention. It took like 10 minutes to get a room, even i was the only checking in. Since paid with Expedia, did not opened a voucher nor credit. Then did some local calls. Could do it my self, had to ask front desk. They did the call one day. Next day they said no and asked me for a credit since each call was about 3 pesos (like 3 cents US). Confusing to me. Despite that i would stay there again, since it´s clean, nice and with great location.

well this hotel is very comfortable clean and the breakfast was very good and there is lady making you eggs the way you like that is what make special you stay, but this will better if the breakfast is include in the rate that will a good buy to stay.
