Excellent innkeeper!
Tiny is an excellent innkeeper and proprietor. He took very good care of us. The rooms were extremely clean!

The room was extremely clean but the property is very dated. No fridge, no microwave, internet didn't work. It was the least expensive option in town for the day I was there so for the price it was fine. The check-in process was somewhat peculiar and time consuming but the stay itself was fine.

Hi Jeff, thank you for your review. we are trying to keep our property clean. we have restaurant on the site that is why no fridge and microwaves are in all my rooms. But these are provided on the request. Internet always worked perfectly.

Hi Lindsay, Thank you for your review. If my any guest need fridge or microwave we always try best to provide on request. We never charged more price than the fixed price. Sorry to say you left the room very filthy and water was all over the bed. It is not acceptable.

We were charged twice for this room and it was blamed on Expedia "fine print" and Expedia said it was Stiles motel policy. No air conditioning or amenities and no one available for early checkout.We will not be using expedia again for any hotel arrangements. And certainly not this horrible motel.

The bed is very comfortable and the room is impeccably clean. After a day of driving it was nice to walk past the well-documented historical buildings on my way to a variety of restaurants.

This was a horrible experience. This hotel should be forced to clean up its act or close. The hot water heaters are turned off. The beds are not made. The employee hates Expedia. The toilet handle stuck. The refrigerator was unplugged. The dead bolt would not lock. The dirt under the bed made it impossible to see what color the low grade carpet was. The bathroom was a 3x3 claustrophobic nightmare. This place was worse than a dive. The only reason I felt somewhat safe is that the fire and police departments were across the street. I would NEVER recommend anyone stay there, EVER!

Hi Sheryl, sorry to hear about your bad experience. we always strive to give our guests a positive and happy experience at our motel. we are having renovation done at the end of this summer for brand new and updated rooms for 2024. But for the bed not made is you should show the office employee when he or she is gone with you to leave you there. I always checked the room after ready to go.

The property is in need of remodelling. The out side light did not shut off with the switch and the plug for using a blow dryer did not work. Manager said he would have his electician look at it. But no one came to check it

Hi KIm, Thank you for the review, it made me very surprised that you have issue for my fully renovated room. I was hoping that you will be happy that the owner helped your Dad to get from the car and made feel that you are both comfortable in the room. I checked already pillows in the room all smell perfectly ok. Because every day I changed all my sheets and pillow protectors and pillow cases. Hope next time you will feel different.

We were greeted by the owner during a snowy evening. He was so hospitable, friendly, and accommodating. The room was spacious with a refrigerator. The water pressure in the shower was strong and the water was nice and warm. For the price and location, this was a good deal, Will definitely stay there again.

The motel room was comfortable and clean. The owners were friendly and helpful. The motel is older and a few kilometers from the Trans Canada; however, the room was spacious, clean and very quiet.

Disappointed stay
The room was very damp, the bed was hard as a rock and the carpet was very damp. The ac did not work and one window was in need of repairs because if you opened it, you need a degree to close it!! The smoke detector was so old it was discoloured! No fridge or coffee machine! Very basic room for the price!

Enjoyed our stay!
We stayed while on a motorcycle trip. The staff was very attentive, the room was no frills and dated but very clean. We were able to walk downtown for breakfast and found a beautiful walking trail along the water. It fit our needs for a one night stay and we would stay again if we were in the area.

As long as I know in all my rooms all curtains are very well hanged and all my team had worked very hard to keep the motel very clean.Thanks very much for suggesting for renovation which is already started from the other side of the motel.
