This hotel can use some investment. 1. The rooms are outdated and carpets worn and stained. 2. Water temp in showers are inconsistent 3. Tiles and sink/ faucet are old and worn and worn 4. TV is old and images are hard to see. Paper cups that leak for in room coffee and bathroom use. Cheapest toilet paper you can buy. 5. Other guests at time of our stay were noisy and loud all night long. Police were called during our stay to what was assumed a domestic dispute. Kids crying. The noise by other guests was the worst I have ever encountered in many years. People talking and drinking and families fighting was very disturbing. 6. Hotel has a great water slide for families 7. Hotel has a decent restaurant with a good chef. Prices are fair and food is good. 8. Location has shopping nearby and lots of fast food locations 9. Daily room service was good. In summary, management needs to invest in this hotel, update the rugs and bathrooms and invest in some hotel security to shut down the guests who are ruining the experience for everyone else.

We found our stay quite convenient as it was the location for the 100th birthday celebration for a family member. The pool and waterslide facilities were enjoyed by us and we would certainly stay again in the future. Thank you. Debbie and Domenic Scorziello...Guelph Ontario

Im very familiar with this area. Everything you need is in close distance. Because the building is older you have the typical noise issues. Walking above you, neighbors coming and going. The washroom needs an upgrade but functions fine. We had 2 queen beds and I was lucky enough to choose the one that sounded like it had a solo drinking cup crunching in the corner anytime I moved. Lol the matress was firm and the pillows soft!

The carpets in the hallways and our room smell old and with disinfectant. The shower rod fell off the wall while we were using it. Sink is chipped and rusty. Bathroom door had been kicked in at some point so the lock set was falling out of it. Bathroom floors were ok but filthy where the met the tub.

I had a ham and cheese sandwich at Altos which they charged me $15.99 , and soup for $4.99 which was less than a cup. It was not worth it and I won’t be eating at Altos again

The pool area had little kids jumping into the hot tub with snotty noses. Turned my father and I off and we immediately left the area back to our room. Carpets in the room all dirty and stained. The rooms were very outdated and realized there isn't a complimentary breakfast where most hotel's offer this with the booking. The price for a nights stay should be around $80 max. Disappointed and won't be staying again.

Couldn’t use blankets as they were dirty with what seemed to look like someone else’s snot, didn’t have enough pillows to accommodate myself or my partner. other then that it was okay

My stay at the hotel was great overall. The service, room, and amenities were excellent. However, the lack of provided slippers was disappointing. Hopefully, they'll consider adding this in the future.

Our room had a smell to it. Was bearable. Found the pool temperature cool. Hot tub was only warm. Check in staff were friendly. Bed was comfortable.

Card entry gave a sense of security, staff was very accommodating, and polite. I’ve had gone over the checkout time but was given a grace period with no extra charge. Quiet and clean rooms. The microwave kicked out the breaker but maintenance was very quick to fix the issue. The phone didn’t work but wasn’t really an issue as we all had cellphones, again maintenance was quick to resolve the issue. Friendly staff, made me feel welcome. Will stay again.

Upon arrival the girl at front desk who checked us in was very sweet and helpful. Once we arrived to our room it smelled so bad of urine our eyes were watering, my husband went to front desk and shortly after someone from housekeeping came and sprayed the carpet a bit with a sanitizer spray. We ordered from the restaurant and the food was okay, we tried to get room service but they rudely asked us to come pick it up. We brought our kids to the pool and the chlorine was so strong we couldn’t stay for very long which was disappointing as it was the whole reason we booked there. The next morning our toilet wouldn’t flush and started backing up, the whole time we stayed there it was not flushing well so we tried to just not use it. After telling the front desk someone came and just left a plunger at our door which really didn’t help anything as that wasn’t the issue. The toilet then was overflowing while my husband tried to fix it with the plunger anyways. We were told someone would come drop off towels and that someone else would come fix the toilet, they never came. We checked out hours early, the two men at front desk didn’t ask any questions just signed us out.
