We're sorry to hear that your recent experience fell short of expectations.Regarding the issue with the heating and cooling unit in your room, we appreciate your understanding as we work to upgrade our systems. It's worth noting that while some of our older units may lack the modern features of our newer ones, they are still very efficient at heating or cooling rooms. We did have maintenance check your unit and all appeared to be functioning as we expect. We are actively in the process of replacing units, as they reach end of life with more efficient heat pumps. Rest assured, we are committed to ensuring the comfort of all our guests.Regarding the early check-in fee, we understand that flexibility is important, which is why we strive to accommodate guest requests whenever possible. While our standard policy does include a charge for early check-ins before 4 PM, we made an exception in your case and waived the 60.00 fee as a gesture of goodwill. We hope this helped enhance your overall experience with us.Lastly, we regret any inconvenience caused by the unavailability of ground floor rooms during your stay. On our web sites, including our 3rd party partners, we do differentiate ground floor from second floor rooms. The property and room was very clean and well kept. The carpet in the room however was wet in a few places. Awkward. All in all ok beds are great and comfortable.

The hallway smelled of cigar or pipe smoke all evening. When I entered my room, the chair at the desk had food crumbs on it, dirt was on the floor in the bathroom, fuzz of some sort was on the carpet and not vacuumed. After using the shower, you could smell cigarette smoke in the bathroom. Staff pleasant. Breakfast well done.
