This Marriott needs a renovation. The staff kept it as clean as possible, but it needs new bathrooms in the rooms and an updated lobby and breakfast room. The breakfast attendant was the best I've ever had at a Marriott. Charlene provided excellent service. Unfortunately the manager assigned us 1 room instead of the 2 we reserved and left our group without enough beds.

The staff was kind and responsive to minor concerns. Central to everything in Williamsburg. Everything was literally within a 10 minute drive. Lobby always smelled good, and breakfast buffet was very well kept. Shout out to the breakfast buffet attendant, Ling! Wow, what a star. Super kind, friendly and welcoming. Every time I saw her she was working hard with a smile on her face. It’s beautiful to see someone put so much effort and love into their work. Also great water pressure and hot water! Only reason I say 4 but not 5 stars, is because the hotel needs to be updated. Walls, carpet, and facilities could use an update. Overall, this hotel was a great place to rest during our vacation.

The hotel was rundown and not very clean, but the staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. Expedia messed up our reservation and didn't make it right, so I don't plan to use Expedia again anytime soon.

Decent, but renovations are needed!
Hotel is adequate. The lobby is in great shape and very welcoming. The rooms...not so much. They are severely outdated and need a complete renovation and make over. Cleanliness was ok, but my sister in the neighboring room had a huge water bug in her bathroom. Grossed me out. Front desk just brushed it off and didn't treat it as an issue at all. Included breakfast wasn't too bad, but don't expect variety each day. For the 5 days, the breakfast options remained the same. Overall, a decent stay.

Bathroom was filthy
Bathroom was very dirty. The toilet looked as if it had not been cleaned in months and there was a clump of hair on the shower wall when I arrived. I stayed at this hotel because it is an easy walk to my son’s campus, but I will not stay here again.

It’s time for Marriott to renovate this property. The room size is good. The room was stinking like egg shell. Bathroom was also stinking. We could hear people talking in the hall way. There was gap between the door. I would not recommend this hotel for anybody.

Staff was friendly. The hotel itself was old and needed a major upgrade!!! The bathroom turned me off. There was a bath mate on the bottom of the tub and the edges looked very unclean. I didn’t feel comfortable there after that. The room was outdated.
