The room needed black-out curtains. Too much light came in the blinds. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working. The room appeared run-down and needed reviving. The room needed more hangers. The safe in the dresser was very old and had no instructions on operation. The bed was very comfortable. The table in the room was very old and wobbly. The a/c worked very well. The workers were very friendly and usually said hi when we walked by them. The pool in our building was nice and cooled us off very well. All in all a pretty good stay…

The entire town of Wildwood had no electricity due to a fire at the substation. We did not know until checking in for two days for my three-year-old son's birthday. We keep getting incorrect information from the hotel staff about when the power would be fixed. After a day and a half of staying/sleeping in our air-conditioned car due to NO room air conditioning, no hot water, NO use of our refrigerator/kitchen, and NO lights, we turned in our keys and drove 100 miles home. It was, of course, not the hotel's fault, but the communication from them was poor and inconsistent. The hotel would NOT refund our prepaid money at the time of our arrival/check-in or when we left. The best that they were willing to do is a possible credit for a future stay. WE ARE NOT HAPPY WITH THEIR RESPONSE.

The staff was very friendly and courteous. She explained even the parking and where our room was. The thing that made me uncomfortable was our dead bolt was broken and did not work. All we had to rely on was the doorknob lock.

I am sorry, No one came to us and said the room was dirty upon check in. If that was the case, we would have immediately changed rooms. When you have issues always let someone know so we can resolve them.

This motel is overpriced and basic. You walk in and it’s so dark. The walls and door are dirty. The door barley closes. The guy at the desk got our card information wrong and almost had us locked out of our card. The bank was closing thank goodness we spoke to someone. Come to find out he was typing the wrong expiration date into the system “smh”. For now on my advice to people visiting wildwood is save money for a condominium. Because these run down motels aren’t worth the time at all.

The property was very clean. I was in one of their flats. The water pressure was really low and it took forever for the tub and shower to drain. The fixture to turn on the shower was almost broken and you had to fight it to even turn the shower on and the shower made vary Lois winding sounds. The sign on the flats ask people be quiet after 10:00 PM, but the people below us we’re drunk and partying until one in the morning. We were there during the Firemans convention so that might’ve been a wrong place wrong time type of thing. Also, the property states you have free Wi-Fi. It was nonexistent in the flat and extremely spotty all over the property. So if you need Wi-Fi, this is not the place other than these things we had a great time and the staff were great

Great location. Right on the boardwalk, and within walking distance of pretty much everything. The room itself was perfect for what we were looking for, which was basically a safe, comfortable, functional place to store our belongings and sleep. What you should know before booking, the doors are extremely hard to open. We would need to spend about 10 minutes working on the door each time before gaining access to the room. This sucked when it was raining or when we forgot to grab something after having just left. We made a game out of it though and would set timers on our phones and see who could guess closest to how long it would take lol. Just a quirky annoying thing. One thing that disappointed was housekeeping. We had a crusty blanket the first day, second day our garbage wasn’t changed, third day was fine, fourth day was fine, last day we didn’t receive service at all. It just felt we weren’t a priority. The hotel was also not busy. Overall, the standard in wildwood is sadly pretty low for hotels, so this is probably as good as you’ll get. It will work for what you need. We didn’t complain there cuz you can tell they didn’t give a rats @ss (it’s New Jersey what can you do) but it’s whatever, you live. I’m giving a 4 star review because honestly, it was fine and we had a good trip.

Never going back to wildwood
The picture was of a different hotel. We checked in and they took us to a dofferent hotel because the pool was under construction. It was not close to the boardwalk. The room was so disgusting we could not stay another day. Remote to TV did not work. Only 1 channel. Went to make coffee grounds still in there from last people. Took shower, water went off half way thru. The air conditioner kept going on and off and when it went on it sounded like a rocket lifting off. I would just get to sleep and it would go on and scare the crap out of you. Only 1 window in room sealed shut. Too hot without air on. So 1 minute throwing covers on next taking them off. Neither of us slept. It was the longest nite ever. The staff wouldnt accomodate us. We just had to leave and go home after only 1 night.

In our time of need...
It was a last minute trip so I was a bit nervous as I had never stayed in this motel before. It was clean, we were met with kind and friendly staff, and we were able to access out room before check-in time. Since we arrived early in the morning (check-in was not initially available) we were provided with a temp parking tag until we were able to check in. Morning of check-out, the office was closed as we left very early to catch the first Cape May Lewes Ferry home, we were able to leave our keys in the room locked with no difficulties or concerns.

We did not see anyone for three days to empty trash give us towels or any room service at all. The balcony had many rusted loose nails that actually cut one of our feet. The pots were still dirty in the kitchenette. An odd substance was running down the wall from the last or prior tenant. We pulled out the couch sleeper and the existing sheet had large oval urine/something else stains on it. The pools were nice. The closeness to the boardwalk was nice. Better management is needed here and better care of property.

I booked 2 rooms. 1 is an apartment style which is okay but the sofa is nasty as in nasty there were stains so we could not spread to make it a bed good thing we have inflatable bag and they should look behind the furniture when cleaning. We saw lots of wrapper behind and under furnitures.The other room is a small one at the corner back of the 2nd floor its nice small room but u can hear everything from outside, coz next room to us is the cleaning supply and ice maker. When theyre talking really loud.

I was early disappointed in the location of our room, I feel like I got catfished a bit with the pictures. We had a first floor room on the Main Street away From the pool. There is multiple pools and the one pictured is not the one we had in our building.

All of our rooms are situated within a 1-2 minute reach of the pool in the build.
