The lobby is big with a fireplace and lots of taxidermy (may be a plus or a minus). The room had laminate flooring, which can be a plus with allergies, but the decor in the room made it feel cold and empty. Everything was sufficiently clean. We were hoping their breakfast included some protein, but were told that it did not include any eggs or meats. The afternoon desk clerk was friendly and gave us suggestions for dinner. We asked about the possibility of staying in our room for 1 more night and were told it was available as long as we let them know by 11am the next day. I called the desk the next morning at 7am to let them know we would be staying the 2nd night and were told that they did not have any rooms like ours available. We could check out and upgrade to a more expensive room if we wanted. We obviously were not happy that we had been given incorrect information and that management made no effort to correct the situation, so we checked out and thankfully were able to move to a different hotel in town. We would not stay here again.
