Make sure you stay here if visiting Wells

Very welcoming couple. We felt we were staying with friends. We had to check in early and Julia very kindly dropped us off in Wells for a wedding. Very peaceful. Delicious breakfast. I hope we have an excuse to go back and stay very soon,

Lovely stay

We spent two nights at Coxley House. The house is beautiful and the owners couldn't be nicer, going out of their way to make sure we had a fantastic stay. The breakfasts were delicious too!

Perfect stay in the countryside

Coxley House is a gem of a B&B. I couldn't find anything to criticize if I tried. Wells is a lovely small town. Coxley House is on the outskirts, a 5 minute drive, and even accessible by footpaths. You should ask the hostess for directions, because it is well hidden from the main road. This is a lovely, quiet home, with a walled garden leading to fields with views of the Cathedral and Glastonbury Tor. Our room was well decorated and the view one window included grazing cows. Our hostess was gracious and a former private chef who provided terrific breakfasts.

A brilliant break!

From the moment we arrived in pouring rain to be met by Julia with umbrella at the ready we were delighted with all aspects of this lovely country house. The rooms were beautifully furnished and the bed was so comfortable we didn't want to get up. Lovely breakfast, lovingly served. Absolutely faultless. To cap it all, the views from the meadow of Glastonbury Tor and Wells Cathedral were priceless. We hope that one day we will be back.

Lovely stay

From the moment we arrived Julia warmly welcomed and made us feel very much at home. She provided us with tea and home made cake which was a lovely touch on our arrival. The room was large and airy with lovely views over the gardens and fields beyond. The bathroom was also large and modern with a great corner shower unit. Breakfast was excellent especially with the eggs being provided by her own hens, set us up for the day. Would definitely recommend this B&B and will return.

Excellent B&B

Not your average B&B by any means. A very comfortable room with a large bathroom and excellent breakfasts. The hosts were very nice and were happy to put themselves out to help us with our weekend away.
