not very spacious, it says there is a pool at the hotel but you have to walk 7 minutes to get there which wasn’t very convenient as we had expected for it to be there. the customer service wasn’t great the women who delt with us didn’t know what she was doing. when we had questions we were not given answers and had to ask for the manager

On arrival reception was closed with a number to call. As we were having phone problems fortunately gentleman staying at the units made contact on our behalf. It appears that the apartments may be used for long term housing as one person we spoke to had been there for 8 months. On opening our curtains we looked into a room that looked like it had been occupied by squatters as there was rubbish in the room and onto the balcony. On arrival back on our second day at 4.30pm our room had still not been serviced and as such just got some new towels. Definitely would not recommend staying here and question some of the reviews.

You arrived during the Homegrown festival and we apologise for the delay in servicing the rooms. You have booked a standard studio with us which faces the atrium. Our One-Bedroom apartments have plenty of space and are externally facing. May I suggest you try those rooms next time you visit Wellington?

Clean room, bit on the small side. Room facilities were good though. Out of the main CBD and not much dining in area. Probably would stay closer to wharf next time

Great location to the city. Quirky perking but you get used to it. We’ve been there before. Not fancy but comfortable. Recommended for short stays with comforts and privacy. Lots of help at the desk.

The Expedia website said that a pool and exercise facilities were at the ground level of the building. this was not the case - had to walk about 10 mins down the road. consequently only used the pool once. i had wanted to do this every morning of our stay but as i have limited mobility found the extra distance inconvenient. also the pool was not heated. I had booked this hotel especially for the convenience of an easily accessible pool on the ground floor. will not stay here again.

For our son’s 12th birthday he wanted to stay in a hotel with a swimming pool (for the first time). This property was advertised with a swimming pool so we booked. Firstly the pool is a 7minute walk from the property, NOT onsite. So we made the trip to the pool only to find out under 14 years of age aren’t allowed to swim. Very disappointed son!!! We will not be back.

Hi Ange, Thanks for your feedback. I have checked our pool information within Expedia and it did state that our guests have access to the pool nearby rather than it being onsite. We would appreciate a phone call to clarify the terms and conditions of the pool prior to arrival. Unfortunately, we are limited to what we can update on the Expedia site to provide more information to our guests. We have provided a partial refund for the inconvenience.

I liked the self contained unit and the TV reception was great. The price was great for a last minute deal which suited my needs at the time for a 3 day stay. I would recommend and stay there again in the future. The only thing that I would say was a negative would be the room service was late, but then I realized there were a lot of rooms. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Very centrally located in the heart of the CBD with really helpful and informative staff. A nice apartment to stay in with good amenities including access to a well equipped gym and a handy washer / dryer in the room. Would stay here again.

Hi Liz Thanks for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. I feel some of the areas that you are not happy with were not fairly assessed. Understand that you were frustrated in the first instance in finding the hotel as there are several Quests on the same street. I am sure giving us a call or putting our address into the GPS will point you in the right direction. As for the car parking, we have provided instructions and a map to get to the back of our building, and I personally went to the back of the building to help you identify the entrance as well as pass you a better car parking spot when I saw you have a much bigger car. You have booked a Studio apartment with us and the photos and size were stated on Expedia. If you need more space, you should have talked to us and we would have suggested that our One-Bedroom apartment might be a better choice. Understand that you are owners of a Boutique Lodge in Taupo, but it is unfair that you are comparing the size of the room and Wellington traffic/infrastructure with Taupo. Our aim is to provide an affordable apartment-style living option within the Wellington CBD. As for the bathroom, would you be kind enough to share more with us as we were not able to find what you were referring to? Thanks

Easy to find (as long as you know which Wellington Quest you are staying at - there are 2) easy access. Great service, friendly and helpful. The access to town through the hotel across the road is very handy.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The noise from the road and the unit above was very loud. Inside the building felt very safe with access only available to those who were staying there. The room could have been cleaner (check under the couch cushions). The cooking odours from the rooms was very noticeable. However, our stay there was great.

I have answered this questionnaire on the brochure in our room. The one thing I was disappointed in was when booking on line I specifically stated I would pay when we arrived and the payment was taken out of my credit card. The lady on the desk when we arrived actually argued that I hadn't replied to an email. I did not want it charged on my credit card but had to leave it as she couldn't change it. The question should not be there if it is going to be ignored.

Decent apartment
Apartments were decent with dishwasher and washing machine. However very strong spice/curry smell around building and corridors. Wouldnt recommend courtyard room as no fresh air. Overall great location easy access to Wellington buses, shopping and tram.

Great 3 day stay in the city.
Check in was a breeze. Loved the security key pads (3) involved to get into building. Felt safe. Had a front street facing room. Was surprised how quiet it was for Wellington. Room layout was great & well arranged. Plenty of room to move, so never felt in each other pockets. Kitchen perfect size for 3 nights. Plenty of dishes & space. Very clean rooms. Beds comfortable & used heated blankets for warmth at night. Great sleep. Very clean entrances, elevator & hallway. Great stay! Highly recommend

A little over-priced for the size of the room. However, we stayed during the woman's FIFA football, so prices may have increased for the time we stayed. Studio rooms are small, but had everything we needed. No traffic noise. I would book one bedroom apartment for a longer stay and would prefer external window. Staff at desk were very helpful and friendly. Great location.

Good property, cleanliness was perfect and having gym and pool was a surplus. The only thing will be property condition with only 1 elevator working and stairs wasn’t open and thinking of the fire that happened in Wellington with 6 lives lost in the same week we stayed in Wellington did worry me, thought having good access to stairs for emergency will be vital.

Pool was cold, windows etc looked dirty and swimming lessons on daily so only small swimming area. Fridge was not cold. Tiny room with portable air conditioning. Not a quality room for price.
