It doesn't have all the amenities that others do and it is definitely older. However, it was very clean and it was reasonably priced. It was quick and easy to get checked in and out of. For just an overnight stay, it is very reasonable.

The room and bathroom were small, and the heater was loud and rattled. It was comfortable with a supportive bed, and very nice family owners.

Clean, cozy, comfortable, cute, oh, and did I mention clean? Really, this small family-run motel was just right for our visit to Walla Walla. Our time was spent out and about, but it was nice to return to a homey, warm room on a chilly fall evening to read and relax. I also appreciated the bright, cheerful bathroom and great shower! Why spend more for a sterile, generic hotel? We will stay here again next time!

This place was clean but lousy in every other way imaginable. 4.8 out of five? They must be faking their own reviews. The faults are too numerous to list. I would have been better off and saved a ton of money by sleeping in my car.

Clean, comfortable lodging in a mom-and-pop type establishment--more than adequate for our short stay. Bathrooms appear recently updated and are nicely done. (A helpful addition would be to have a place to hang clothes--even a few hooks.) We will definitely stay here again!

Price was right, beds comfy, quiet location, convenient location. It would be an improvement to have access to coffee (a Kuerig) and better bath soap.

Thanks for the review and we are glad you had a nice stay. Did you try our instant coffee? It's pretty good, but we have coffee pots available upon request and the gas station next door has good coffee.

A hidden gem
This is a great little motel; a "hidden gem" as they say. It's older (1948?) but it has been remodeled inside. The bathroom / shower / tub was the nicest I've experienced in a long time. I also liked that I can park right in front of the door for easy loading and unloading. Service was super-friendly and good. This motel lacks some of the features of the chain hotels (breakfast, a pool, a brand name, high prices) but has everything I need for a pleasant stay. Five stars.

This quaint property is expertly maintained inside and out. The staff of this family owned and run property are cheerful, friendly and professional. If we're ever back in the area, we'll stay there again.

Overall, I'd give this property 4.5 stars. It is definitely dated in terms of decor and property appearance. Being handed an actual key for the door was a surprise but not a detriment to our stay. And speaking of modern, LOVE that they have solar panels on their roof and are harnessing the power of the sun to produce clean energy. The room was generously sized for the two of us. The beds were comfortable. The microwave and mini-fridge were great - just what we needed to eat left overs. The staff was great at check in and the no frills check out was just fine with me - leave your keys in the room and the door auto-locks behind you. I had a good laugh at the tiny bars of soap that came with the room, but now I'm actually thinking they are genius. Just enough to get through a long weekend with some wasted, but not much. And the shampoo with green tea extract was very nice with a good texture and a very clean rinse. I just wish it came with a matching conditioner. I will stay here again the next time I'm in Walla Walla if they have a vacancy.

Fantastic Find - Clean, Quite and Comfortable
We LOVED our stay at the Walla Walla Garden Motel. We were greeted warmly by the owner and their young family member. The check in process was easy and friendly. The room was very clean and had very nice amenities in it. It was also incredibly quiet for a motel. The owner told me the next morning that they had paid to have all the rooms better insulated. There wasn't that tinny sound you normally hear in motels. We never heard the other guests, though the place was full up. I would HIGHLY recommend this quaint little motel. It's just two miles from downtown and way more affordable than the local big chains. Five stars all around.

The place is very clean. I can feel the carpet clean and soft (which does not happen in budget motels). The little garden and sitting area outside motel is beautifully maintained. They deserve me making an effort to place a review here. I am impressed.

My husband and i stopped at this cute little motel. The gardens are wonderful. They have a relaxing swinging bench that i decided to read my book for a bit. The owners were very kind.
