Good value. Staff are very kind and helpful. If staying to go to Petra, it is better to stay closer to the park - more options for tourist activities after park closes.

Comfortable hotel and good size room in the downtown. Check in was easy and friendly. Outside sitting area is excellent. High pressure water. The room has have a fridge but if you need to use it ask the front desk to plug it . The breakfast has a good variety. Great local restaurants near the hotel

Good clean hotel, good value, delicious breakfast
Great. Especially at that price point. I know there are more luxurious hotels near Petra, but why bother? It was all I needed. Plus the owner/manager is there to make sure it runs well. I didn't try the restaurant at night, but the breakfast buffet filled me up with plenty of energy for the long hikes ahead.

Staff at the property were very kind, went above & beyond for us. From letting us use their personal phones to make calls when our didnt work, to giving us a ride to the store in their personal vehicle to get things without charge. Kindest staff Ive ever encountered at any hotel anywhere!

Cheap ok stay
Basic, but clean affordable hotel close to Petra which was our reason for the visit, reasonable breakfast which was included in the price. However there was no chairs in the room which was quite large neither was there a kettle or fridge, such a pity

Helpful friendly staff, other than a slight issue with a slow water faucet in the bathroom. 2 night stay was comfortable enough. Rooms could be slightly bigger for a 4 person room, but we were all fine to be honest.

The good: beds, bathroom, and (free) breakfast. The not so good: (i) front desk always offered a reason not to deliver a simple special service (e.g. extra towels, extra room key) before (always) delivering the requested item. (ii) room heaters not up to task in early January. (iii) lost power to many rooms during our second night (we were a large group that booked out the hotel); power restored in about an hour. 5JD taxi fare to Petra entrance (save your walking energy for Petra).

Modern clean hotel in Petra
This hotel is about 2km from the Petra Archaeological site. The hotel has everything you would need after a hard couple of days of walking the dusty streets of the Petra site. We had a car and there were loads of street parking in front of the hotel and at Petra. Check in was quick which was appreciated as we were tired sightseeing after Petra. Hot water pressure was strong and the room and bathrooms were clean. Western and Jordanian breakfasts was provided. English was spoken at the reception. I would stay here again.

False advertisement. We specifically booked this hotel because it claims that there is a "laundry facility'; there were cheaper & better hotels nearby. We were on the last week of a 6-week trip & planned on doing laundry there. When we asked them why they falsely claimed that, their response was a nonchalant 'what's the big dea/.' Also there is NO hotel transportation to Petra (which is about a mile away) as advertised - another false advertisement!

Enjoyable stay
Hotel was great, clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast which was included was very good. If you did not have a car it was too far to walk to the entrance to Petra especially after all the walking you did in Petra. But they have a free shuttle back and forth, you just give their card to the information desk at the Petra entrance and they call for you Also there is a place almost across the street to change money. The hotel takes Visa credit cards

A great place to stay.
Hard to fault this hotel. Recommended to us by a travel agent friend who lives in wadi Musa, this is a clean and comfortable place not too far from Petra - although probably a bit far to walk to it for most. The breakfast offers a good selection and we even had great views of beautiful sunsets. Comfortable bed too.

We booked at Sharah Mountains Hotel, however, when we checked in, we were told that the hotel was already full despite having a reservation and paid in full. Instead, they put us up in their "sister" hotel which was run down (IE: no shower curtain, no hot water, and no toiletries, to name a few...) and farther away. I was even more upset to find out that the hotel cost much less per night that Sharah Mountain!

Stayed two nights. Very Clean and comfortable. Room was dim so kind of hard to get ready in the morning but used a mirror by the window and was able to put on my makeup. Would help if bathroom had brighter light. WiFi wouldn’t work in our room from 730 at night until 530 in the morning but always strong WiFi in lobby. Hotel breakfast buffet really good and plentiful. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff/owner is such a bad host
I did 10 days touring in Jordan and didn't meet such a bad person(the owner I believe) who was at the desk when I and my husband checked in. he asked us for our marriage certificate (when we left at home in the stats) and asked inappropriate questions about both of us. in the second day of the stay: we requested towels and they were furious how do we ask for extra towel !!! I would never stay there again. I would keep visiting Petra though

Above expectation considering its price. Very clean room and toilet. There is no fridge or safe but everything else is just good. Supermarket is nearby but you have to walk about 20 minutes to go to the visitor centre of Petra.

1 night to visit the Petra. Shuttle bus is provided to Petra (0.7 KM, not walkable). Plenty of Street parking. Kind staffs, nearby restaurants (walk down), reasonable breakfast; clean room

Great hotel to explore Petra
Stayed in this hotel to explore Petra for 3 days/4 nights. The hotel has its own shuttle to get to and back from Petra. The beds are super comfy and shower very hot. The owner is friendly and always ready to help, watch out for his jokes, he can be cheeky. There are plenty of restaurants around, the hotel also has one. Food was tasty and serves were hudge! Has a great stay.

Avoid!!!! First they will try and annoy you into buying all kinds of extras!!!! Do not buy the dinner, packed lunch or Petra by night tickets. The overpriced dinner is boiled chicken and rice with the boiling wayer as a sause Do not order drinks. They cost more than 3 times the price at other okaces. How they get you!!!

Probably the cleanest hotel you will ever find. The service is very well intentioned but perhaps a little Heavy on the upsell. Really nice to take advantage of the free shuttle at 0615!
