Typical Ibis, a known quantity and reliable. The A/C in the room was poor and barely functional. A fan in the room would have made a huge difference. The weather was unusually hot but that happens from time to time. Hotels should plan for those weather events and be prepared to cool guest rooms appropriately. There was no coffee in the room, which Ibis doesn’t seem to provide anywhere but that would be a plus. The staff was very helpful and the room and lobby was clean.

Hotel is located about half way between the train station and the downtown area. Very walkable from one location to the next. Staff was helpful and held our bags while we toured the town before our train departure.

Rooms are old but very clean-it was a businnes trip, we stayed 7 hours. Coffe at Entrance a joke and very expensive. They should offer at least free coffe.

Good hotel with some trouble
It was overall nice stay, nice and comfortable room and nice location- very close to the main station. Only problem was that receptionist told me that the breakfast was included, and it wasn’t... I doubted it too, as I didn’t book the room with breakfast. I even made sure several times if it’s surely included, and she said yes. Next morning, surprise! I was charged €12, which I really wouldn’t have chosen if it’s not free. Felt like they did that so I had to pay for it. I’m not mad about breakfast not being free, but the fact she misinformed me and I had to pay for something I didn’t want. I left the place feeling scammed.

The Ibis at Bregenz
The stay was excellent and the hotel staff extremely friendly and efficient. The room was very clean and functional and a personal touch was the sweet on the bed. Very good indeed for an inexpensive hotel.

Nice Place, Well Laid Out Room, Great Breakfast
The room was a little more spacious than I had expected. The layout was efficient and the long desk / counter along the window was great. We liked that there was air conditioning as we stayed during a time that was unusually warm. We had the breakfast one morning and it was great. Lots of options including hot foods, make your own waffles, lots of fresh fruit and salads, breads, juices, and yummy coffee drinks including cappuccino. It was worth the money (12 Eu) and the attendants were very busy keeping everything stocked.

Nice hotel in the city center
We were unlucky to get a room where an unpleasent person smoked. Other than that the place was great and if it had not been becauae of that this would be a great hotel for couples.

Good hotel in Bregenz
Great location if you are heading to the opera on the lake. Close to the lakefront and many restaurants. Wished the room had a bathtub but overall very enjoyable stay.

Convenient location and great service
Great location. Arrived by train and only a few mins walk to the hotel. Also walking distance to the lake, Festspielhaus, city center. Nice rooms and they were very accommodating with special requests like luggage storage, early check-in and baby bed. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

The hotel has ideal location, close to train station and lake, and within reasonable walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Currently undergoing renovations, so some construction noise during the day. Rooms are clean, large enough, but not fancy. Like many/most mid-range hotels the sound from neighboring rooms or the hallway travels. Good basic accommodation.

Nice hotel in Bregenz
The hotel was OK in general. Big and clean room + central location. However the wi-fi didn't work at all (the staff said they had some major technical issue for a couple of days). Also, the check-out process was really slow and it took nearly 30 minutes.

Dear Guest, thank you for your review. We are very sorry about the WIFI problem. The whole switch was damaged and because of the Xmas and new year we didn't receive the new switch very quick. That's why it took so long to offer the WIFI again. We hope we can serve you better the next time

Hotel lift broke during my stay. When I stayed at this hotel before, the lift was also out of action. No good for elderly people who have luggage and a room on the 5th floor.

Location only recommends this hotel.
This hotel was well located near the train station, the old town and Bregenz Festival venues. The room was small, looked onto courtyard with lots of construction going on. The bed was hard and otherwise there were cheap plastic glasses, etc. It was reallly overpriced for the quality of room, a businessman's hotel, sufficient for one night.

Stayed here just the one night. Staff were friendly. Room is the usual ibis layout identical everywhere. No soap in the shower dispenser and very little in the handbasin one, which I only discovered just as I was checking out. Nothing around the hotel but it's central and convenient for the train station.

clean, modern hotel short walk from shores of Lake Constance. Friendly helpful english speaking reception staff. Lovely township with great cable car up 1,000 meters to overlook 3 countrys plus Lake Constance and the Austrian Alps. Lovely clear day for us. Wonderful. Lovely walks along the Lake shore and hotel close to restaurants and shopping

The usual Ibis setup but has aircon fro the heat we experienced and a great breakfast room. Close to everything in town.

Best Ibis Hotel in Bregenz
Great hotel for our overnight stay. The best Ibis we have stayed in, the room was much larger than normal. The hotel staff were exceptional and telephone our next apartment in Switzerland to confirm our accommodation. Although just a stop over we were delighted to walk to the floating stage and around the village. Love it.

3 Country Marathon
The hotel and the location was wonderful. My only complaint was that I couldn't turn the air conditioner on because it was October, therefore my room was a tad warm but I would surely stay there again. Breakfast was WONDEFUL and the staff were extremely helpful. Would HIGHLY recommend.Oh, it's basically right across the street from the train station, extremely convenient.
