My first room had a real bad mildew smell. I advised the front desk and they changed my room and it was perfect. Since I paid for a higher floor but switched to a lower due smell they also provided late check out. Great service!

My balcony room presented a wonderful view of the ocean. It was close to attractions. There were two things i didnt like. There was a riach crawling around in the bathroom. Also upin check in the male staff at the front desk was not friendly at all. He looked like he didnt want to be at work. When i asked for 3 room keys, he told me that he didnt know if he could give it to me and wanted to only provide 2 initially. Until i told him that I had stayed at the hotel several other times and never had this issue. He was also telling me that i couldn't check in with a different card than what i used on Expedia to reserve. I had never had an issue with this either, each time I told him these things were never an issue prior he changed his tune and said he'd allow them as a one time courtesy.

The staff was great. I loved that there was the bar and grill attached to the building. I was disappointed in the quality of the hotel itself... Elevator kept breaking, furniture was not in the best shape, everything just looked old. Overall I had a nice stay but I would not pay more than $80 a night if I decided to go back.

The toilet had a hard time flushing. Our room smells bad. I was looking forward staying in this property again. Last time I did was summer 2022. And it was a different environment. More clean and safe back then.

My stay was great the only thing my view wasn’t great my view was the ac unit so I went to the front office and they were great change my room when I went to the other room it was smaller so I stay with original room the restaurant down in the first floor was good food was great I will definitely stay again

I didnt like how my husband and I were struggling to get the room door open with the key card. Everything in the room was a bit dirty. The bathroom door didn’t even close all the way. But overall the staff were very friendly.

The staff was by far the best staff I have ever encountered. Natalie was amazing from the morning of check in throughout the weekend. All of the front desk was just amazing. The room was nice, outdated and a bit run down. However, the view was pure serenity and I overall enjoyed my stay.

I did like the spacious room and the layout of the room as well as the view. There needs to be some steam cleaning, powerwashing, landscaping upgrades to property as it was dirty looking and trash was blowing around, but the staff was very nice.

Pictures clearly weren't up to date. Had to park almost two streets over. Key didn't work to our original room that had been booked. They upgraded us to a room that seemed like it was a downgrade from the original room booked. Tv only had one channel. Mini fridge was off when we got there and took half the night to get cold. Room was very dim.

I really enjoyed this hotel. I took my mom for a couple nights at the New Year. I found it to be quaint, clean and cozy. The check-in staff was very personable and helpful. I love the 24/7 fresh coffee bar in the lobby! I also loved the location. I've stayed many places in Va Beach and this is my new favorite!

It was ok. I love the balcony and view of the ocean. The room was clean and neat. But the TV was not working and some of the plugs did not work. I also did not like that the parking was down the street from the hotel. But it was an affordable option for an ocean view. The breakfast was just muffins, fruit and coffee. Like I said it was ok.

Check in was at 4pm however we waited in line for 30 minutes just to find out our room was not ready. Additionally, the couch had questionable stains on the cushions and arms of the couch. The bathroom counter was not attached well and was gapped. The door to the room was flimsy and could be easisly pushed in, as if it was broken in before. The room was too expensive to have these problems. Just because its on the beach, doesn't mean propery quality should suffer

The property needs alittle update on the furniture in the rooms. Couch and chairs dirty. House Keeping needs to pay more attention on everything getting clean in the rooms. Hallways needed to be vacuumed. There was mattresses just sitting out in the hallway. Needs closer parking. The staff was very nice.

New Years get away
We had a wonderful stay for New Years weekend. So much still available within walking distance, even during off-season. The view was amazing and service was way above par…every single employee was friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The only thing we would mention is that the sofa in our room was quite dirty. The discoloration was so bad that we didn’t use it or lay any of our items on it.
