Very comfortable bed. We had a shower in ours so that was really nice. Need more efficient wood stoves. They can be difficult to keep from smoking up the tent, which is highly unpleasant. The views from our porch were beautiful as well as the night sky…full of stars.

We stayed at under canvas for 3 nights while visiting Zion, overall our experience was great! The staff is extremely welcoming, friendly, and checks in with you throughout your stay. Despite being out in the middle of nature, we did not have any issues with bugs/snakes/scorpions etc. The room was clean, spacious, bed and linens very comfortable. We loved spending the evenings outside watching the sun go down and making complimentary S’mores by the fire. The stargazer tent was very cool, almost made it harder to go to sleep at night because we didn’t want to stop looking. First and foremost, if you cannot handle fluctuating temperatures without control of a thermostat, don’t even waste your time. Mid day does get pretty warm in the tent even if it’s just in the 70s and although nighttime temps were in the 40s/50s it was very cold in the tent come morning. The small wood stove in the room burns out every 1.5 hrs and you can’t adjust the air flow without the fire going out. Biggest negative for us was the food, I would highly suggest eating dinner elsewhere before going back to the tent for the night. Whatever the protein was in our dishes was never hot enough (one exception was the burger which was decent). It felt like they used pre made/inexpensive items to create dishes that sound elevated so they can charge you more. For example, the fried chicken in the “fried chicken sandwich” was two cold chicken tenders. Overall would recommend, definitely unforgettable.

The location is about 20 mins to Zion. There’s not much around there but that’s what makes it kind of fun. I’m not much of a camper but I loved the glamping concept. They did a really good job with it. We booked the Stargazer tent and it was lovely. Big cozy bed, a sitting area, fireplace stove and cute bathroom. The view from our tent was amazing. It was very relaxing. Only complaint is the noise if there are kids and families around. You can hear everything outside from the walking of the gravel, to kids yelling, etc. The restaurant was great and I had the same amazing cheese board for dinner every night. They serve beer and wine there too. The chili was delicious too. If you are there longer than a few nights you may want to venture out to eat elsewhere but it is about 20 mins to get to restaurants. They did a great job of keeping everything clean. It did get really cold at night but the stove worked well — I didn’t love the smoke entering the tent. Also if you go on summer I can only imagine that it must get really hot during the day bc there’s no a/c. Overall, a great trip and we loved our tent. Bring earplugs and eye mask!

The property is absolutely beautiful. The weather was quite bad the night we stayed and I had to wake up every 2 hours to ensure the fire was up and running to heat the tent.

Property has an incredible location with unbeatable views. It’s remote enough and rustic enough to provide a camping feel, but with plenty of luxuries to provide a feel of being pampered. Staff is top notch — friendly, helpful, and very accommodating.

We stayed at Lake Powell and Zion on our trip and while The Lake Powerll property was identical in accommodations the exceptional level of service, the views and surrounding area of Zion were just breathtaking! We spent half the day on property (my kidsare 12, 10 and 9) before heading out to hike Zion National Park. This is an amazing place! We will be back in the summer to hike the Narrows!

This is wonderful but you need to go in warm weather. The fire place should not be use it’s very dangerous and can case breading problem. Please be aware. The staff there will tell you that it’s safe well it’s not.

Overall the location is unmatched. The glamping experience with Under Canvas is fantastic. The amenities in the tent are fabulous. Very comfortable. Very spacious. Amazing view. The team was friendly and generally helpful but they did have a couple moments where the service fell below expectations. For example they offered a tent refresh after two night (unsolicited by us) and then didn’t provide it. We asked for a charging brick to be relaxed because nothing would on it and when the guy showed up to replace it he made a point of telling us it stilled had power and should have worked (the implication being we didn’t understand how to use it).

Amazing Glamping!
Unique and beautiful property. Staff was excellent, tents were amazing clean and maintained. Activities and live music. Food was good. Amazing “glamping” adventure! The only thing I didn’t like was the pull chain shower.

Overall, this is a very unique and cool vibe. However, what you get for the price is WAY out of whack compared to at least one neighboring property. A friend booked another property that was unfortunately full when we decided to join the trip. We booked here thinking it was similar. The friends definitely got the Glamping facility (doors, full bath, electricity, heat/air, coffee maker, etc.) while we just got upscale camping (zipper tents with a wood stove, now power, pull chain shower). And they got theirs FOR LESS MONEY!! We still liked the place, but fumed over the price once I saw theirs. Speaking of fumes, on the last night our wood stove flute clogged up and we woke to a tent full of smoke. We were blowing soot out of our noses for two days, and all of our belongings smelled like a forest fire. I told the staff, but they basically just said "sorry about that". If I do go back to Zion, we will stay at a more Glamp style facility.

What an absolute great experience we had from the moment we checked in to the moment we left. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking and the tents are perfectly situated to enjoy it every moment. Our host Erin was so authentic and helpful. She even hosted “make art” sessions in the evening. We experienced some extreme weather and the staff was so accommodating! With that said… we also awoke to incredible sunrises and the full range starry skies at night. Food was great… we had a memorable time with our group of six. We have always lived under canvas locations and will continue! Highly recommended! ❤️

The site is fabulous, the staff are amazing and the location is stunning. We went when it was super hot and we’re nervous about the temperature, we need not have been. As much as you won’t spend much time in your tent in the day as there’s so much to do in Zion, at night the temp drops enough for a decent sleep that isn’t like sleeping in an oven. Spectacular views, sunsets and great for resetting as a family.
