The young man at the front office was very kind. Room was very clean, but the bed was little soft for us, but it was ok. Very good place to stay...

We drove a hard 14 hours from NC to get close to Texas for the Eclipse and we were desperate for a good night's sleep. We thought we would take a chance on a hotel chain we did not know and we were not disappointed. Easy off and on to Interstate10 and only 7 miles from the Texas Welcome Center on I-10. The king size bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Breakfast was minimal but well prepared. Staff was friendly and professional. Room was clean and no odor ( and no odor in hallway). If you are on your way to Texas and need a break, this is a quaint hotel that will leave you delightfully surprised.

Enjoyed the stay however two things were questionable, does the location actually have a suite (extended stay)? They should have a quiet time posted, whoever was in 205 stomped and ran from 10p to 1a. Not cool at all. Lastly breakfast should say while supplies are available.

I was getting bitten by bugs in my sleep. Woke up with a big bump on my hand, that was very very itchy. I’m not sure if it was bed bugs or mosquito but something was bitten me in the middle of the night. Went out and came back and my key didn’t work. My room door was open but locked from the inside with the little handle. The staff kept trying to open the door with a spatula which was so ghetto. Then she started kicking it and it finally opened. Switched me to a different room and that door didn’t lock either. Jesus what an experience. Won’t stay there again.

Clean and quiet
Nice clean and quiet hotel but the cable tv seems disconnected. More and more various other hotels seem to have discontinued serve and they call it a temporary outage.

Every time I come in to Vinton, I book a room and great service always clean no complaints what’s so ever. Staff always had a smile on the face. Hands down one of the best hotels I’ve stayed and will continue to stay at.

This is the only place we stay when going to Delta Downs / Lake Charles. It's about 5 minutes from Delta and 15 minutes to Lake Charles. It's clean, quiet, comfortable beds and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. Also pet friendly if we need to travel with our dogs.

I made a reservation through Expedia the same day upon arrival discover the hotel did not have my reservation yet and over booked. They continued to blame Expedia instead of offering an accomodation or anything for that matter. I left a 1am with hopes to find a place to lay my head for the night. I would never recommend cobblestone for a stay....very un professional

Best in Vinton.⁰
Quiet, clean, good price, extremely courteous staff, lobby nicely decorated. Our only complaint was no Sat/Sun housekeeping. The breakfast bar was a nice surprise. Will definitely be our go to stay for our Vinton visits.

Nice motel, but there needs to be a clause about no elevators in the description. We have someone that has a hard time with stairs and also another couple that really needed a handicap accessible room.
