"If you are coming to Monemvasia you should really stay within the castle walls to get the full experience. The hotel is towards the east end of the castle but a very easy walk (5 mins) through the lower town. Like all hotels inside the castle, it is really a cluster of separate houses made into hotel rooms and the room was spacious, beds comfortable with great sea views and nice antique furniture. Most of all as it's at the end of town it's very quiet. I would definitely recommend it"

We had finished a 2-week trip with friends in Turkey and Greece, and this was our special "couple time" to celebrate a big anniversary - but we had gotten sick the week before. Still, Jimmy and the staff at the hotel did a WONDERFUL job providing and caring for us, and it was such a special time. I couldn't recommend a hotel higher! "Conveniently placed at the bus station from Athens. The staff were nice. Clean room with view of the Monemvasia itself. Quiet room despite having a bar on the ground floor. Very good value for the price."

"I cannot think of a single thing I did not like about this place. We stayed one night but really wish we were here longer to enjoy the facility. The staff upon arrival came out to the parking area to greet us, they then helped us unload our bags from the car. They took us to the lobby where they had prepared a light snack for us. When we finished the snack they showed us to our room on the second floor. Since there is no elevator to the second floor they carried our bags up to the room for us. The room was immaculate beautifully decorated , the bed was very very comfortable and had a wonderful firm mattress. They made suggestions for dinner near by and we were not disappointed in the least. The next morning we had breakfast at their buffet food was great. We relaxed by the pool sun bathing. When we were ready to check out they came back upstairs and carried our bags to our car and helped to reload the car. When in the area this is the place to stay. "

"We loved everything about it. We had a room with a balcony overlooking Monemvasia and the ocean. Stunning. Parking is along the road that connects Monemvasia to the mainland. This is where EVERYONE parks. The reception is right inside the castle walls but it could be a bit of a walk from there on cobblestones depending where your room is. Breakfast is fantastic and everyone is so nice and helpful. "
