We were speculative about staying here after reading some of the reviews but the place has the best location ever and for the price was fantastic. Our small balcony was amazing to watch the gondolas and boats go by. Highly recommend. It is not the newest hotel but you get a feel of going back in time and the location and the decor to us was fantastic. Thank you.

Lovely place to stay!
The location is perfect for arriving departing with suitcases if you are not a fan or in condition to haul them for long distances over cobble stoned walkways. The staff are helpful and welcoming at all times. The room had everything we needed and the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast had choices of scrambled eggs, bacon, cold cuts and cheese, yogurt and granola, fruit and pastries. Lots of good places to eat near by. Pretty quiet at night. Lovely!

Avoid at all cost
We arrive at the hotel, and they told us that in November they don't turn the AC on so they have us open a window. First problem is that you get all the noise from the street, and the second is the mosquitos get inside, we ask for a fan or something, they didn't provide any solutions and we so many rats on the street below that they can make there way into the window without much effort. The rooms were very old and outdated. Long story short we could not rest and made our stay in Venize unbearable.

The property is typically venetian in style and whilst it does appear dated and a bit tired it is well looked after and maintained. Room wise, everything was super clean. The air con worked!!!(my main concern in the heat), with good water pressure in the shower. Breakfast, a typical european breakfast buffet was free and even included prosecco! The staff were all super friendly and couldnt do enough for you. The location was just spot on. Easy to find being so close to the Rialto bridge with really.good transport links. Plently of

Since I checked in, I let the gentleman know that I have no hair that night, that my air conditioning was not working properly, he went up to my room and not professionally, he spoke to me in a bad way and told me that if it worked for him, I would pay for myself. room and did nothing to move me in the room and additionally we could not sleep for 2 nights. The next day I was waiting for a response from someone and no one was able to communicate with me, I asked the same man "without hair" to help me open a wine and he told me to go down to reception first and then he told my mother that we should look for wine and Give it to him so that he would open it himself. I work with the Marriott and Hilton chains and I know how to treat guests. I am not at all happy with this property however they charged me the same without any response.

Such a beautiful and old place with the best view
Beautiful location and authentic old Italian place to stay. Enjoyed the views of the Rialto Bridge from the sweet little balcony. They had a great breakfast too! We flew into Venice and began our first night of our dream fifty-night tour of Italy and Greece, Monoco and Malta, and I look forward to ending it there the last few nights too!

Our room had a horrible sewer gas smell that was overwhelming. I mentioned it at checkout and all I received was a “we will check into it”. The room was small but comfortable. The staff was very kind and let us leave our luggage in the lobby until our room was ready, which was greatly appreciated. The hotel is on the grand canal so you’re basically paying for the location. Within walking distance of all things Venice!

This hotel is right in the middle of the popular tourist areas and is located next to many shops, restaurants, and taxi/bus boat locations. Overall great location, the hotel is beginning to be a little more dated but fits into the old Venice Charm. We enjoyed our stay.

Just can’t beat the incredible location immediately adjacent to Rialto. Hotel has old world charm. Very clean. Nice hot shower. Mini fridge in our room. Reasonably good breakfast. Friendly staff!

Traditional, clean and great location
The location of this hotel is excellent - perhaps the most central location in Venice, the hotel is a traditional Venetian hotel and the room and bathroom was spotlessly clean, it had a good shower and comfy bed. There was a reasonable selection for breakfast and nice coffee but was average quality and felt a little rushed.

The hotel is in prime location right next to Rialto Bridge and market. it is a few minutes walk to St Marco square. The only negative thing about it that it doesn't have a lift.

Your location is beautiful and your room was nice and comfy although the tv was really old and struggled to work. But location is unbeatable and this place knows it because they make no effort beyond that. But the biggest complaint is your front desk. You work in the hospitality industry so act like it. Your front desk person saw us struggling entering their swinging wooden doors as we got hit over and over trying to come in, and at no point offered any type of help. Even worse, our balcony was splattered by huge buckets of water from room upstairs as they watered their plants. I complained tk the front desk about it since it landed right on our seats, and they said they have to water and shrugged his shoulders. Again - you work in hospitality - you would think you would treat your customers better. I stayed in much much better hotels in Italy that know how truly treat their customers, and I truly wish this place will adjust to such service so this place can grow to its full potential.

Our room looked nothing like the hotel room photos online; it met our needs for a quick night to see Venice but our room for our family of 4 was very cramped and dark. Fortunately, we were there to see the sights and the location was premium to access the Grand Canal and cross the Rialto Bridge. I would look for another hotel on future trips but appreciated the proximity to our sight seeing stops.

Staff were friendly and helpful and speak English well. The hotel is close to major attractions and easy to get around tourist areas. Breakfast was good. We stayed in a triple ( 3 single beds) and the AC worked well and the bathroom was clean.
