Perfect location for a day trip to Venice. The hotel is within walking distance to the train station. Staff was very helpful and there was a great Pizzeria around the corner as well as a wine store.

A little outside Florence but with excellent trains to/fro the main train station in Florence. Easy walk to the Duomo from there. Very helpful staff.

The hotel is clean and walking distance to the train station. Not much around the hotel, but there is a very good little Italian restaurant next door. The front desk was very helpful and English was spoken.

The staff was so helpful. Leonardo and other guy helped us so much. We we got there was some kind of problem with the light but Leonardo figured it out and fix it for us. The breakfast is pretty good. totally worth it. It's near by the train station as the comment said. It's a calm neighborhood, I've came back alone at night and was ok. They have a restaurant really close by. They also helped us with the taxi the last day. They also have a little area downstairs with sofas and a little terrazo in case you want to have breakfast outside or just sit there

Main reason I stayed at this hotel was to do laundry in the middle of an extended trip. They were listed as having self service laundry facilities which was not the case. Had to do laundry in the sink and the stopper was not working. Needs updating.

Friendly welcome and ever so helpful. Room was excellent, good sleep, nice breakfast included. Train 10 minutes peaceful walking then direct to Venice. Would come back to stay.

First time visited Europe
We're very satisfied with this hotel, the staff is friendly, we arrived at 12:00pm and they let us check in. The place is clean and comfortable, a supermarket is near by, about 1/2 hour drive from the airport and the St Marks square.

Second Time here
This was a return visit to hotel Ambra for us. This time we had our own balcony which was great. Pub on Via Roma (QB I think it was called) is within walking distance with good food and mainly local, lovely italian people. A great place to stay, close to Venice but more affordable accommodation and close to Quarto D'Altino station for a short ride to Venice Mestre or Venice Santa Lucia stations,

Very Convient to Venice & Marco Polo
Hotel staff friendly and accommodating; the desk staff speaks English. Close to Marco Polo Airport, shuttle is available for approx Euro 19 per person. Very good reasonable restaurant around the corner. Walking distance to the railway station. We would stay there again.

Close to Venice at an affordable price
We had a lovely stay here. The location was perfect - a short train ride to Venice without the huge accommodation cost. The hotel is also on the train line to Portogruaro for a day at the beach. Air Conditioning was promptly fixed when we alerted staff that it wasn't working. Staff were friendly and helpful. We have booked another night there later in our travels.

The hotel doesnt look much from the outside but inside was nearly laid out. The room was bigger than expected with en suite as you'd expect. The lady that welcomes us however was lovely and when we mentioned we were hoping to travel into Venice via train she gave us a timetable, and a map of Venice . Giving us local names of stations to listen out too and highlighting places of interest to stay. Even how much the tickets would cost. This helped immensely as we had never used public transport abroad before. breakfast was also as you'd expect. We had to rush to catch out train so didn't sample everything but head sufficient and the staff welcoming and helpful . We were here for 1 night and just needed somewhere to lay our heads and this was perfect for what we wanted. Also easy drive to airport next morning.

Quite Place
Staff are very nice, friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. The only flaw in this hotel is air conditioner is controlled at the front desk. Other than that the place is highly recommended.

Nice alternative to Venice

Nice commuting hotel
The hotel was in a small, neighborhood/town area. It was basic, very clean, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. The breakfast in the morning was very good. It was a great place to stay for a night while traveling.

Nice hotel, slightly far from Venice
Fanily visit to Venice. It was a bit of a walk from the train station, esp for my father who is 80, as it was very hot (38-40C, 100-105F). After a spending a whole day in Venice this hotel feels far away. The good news is that the hotel is good, service is excellent, although my Android Lollipop 5.1 phone could never connect to their internet, my mom's Andoid Cupcake (3.1 version!) easily connected. Breakfast is excellent. We took a bus to the awesome beaches at Lido de Jesolo (30 mins ride), and the bus stop is right in front of the hotel, where there is also an excellent gelato shop (probably one of the best in Italy given now at the time of this review I've eaten gelatos all over Italy). But its great value for the money. Our family has 2 kids, and they have rooms with 4 beds! It was perfect!

Friendly Staff
Staff is very friendly and helpful. They go the extra mile to help the customer. Hotel is located close to the train station (10 min walk). Very clean. The only flaw that had our room was that it only had 2 outlets but we managed. Has a very good restaurant just around the corner that serves very good food.

Good choice for Venice

Great place to stay. Staff was excellent to assist and they even sold the train tickets at the front desk. Hotel was 20 minutes from Venice by train. Great breakfast!

Good location, but horrible, outdated hotel
This hotel is about a 10 minute (easy) walk to the train into Venice. The breakfast buffet offered was decent and probably the highlight of our stay. The AC worked fine. We were in room 103 and it was a quad room with 2 singles and 1 double bed. The towels were as thin at the sheets on the bed, but they did work. Placement of fixtures in the very outdated bathroom was horrible and the shower drained very slow. We will not stay here again. No safe. No iron. Close to a grocery store. TV didn't function properly and when it did work, there were no English channels. This hotel is certainly NOT a 3-star hotel.

Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Rummet vi hade var rent och fräscht. Frukostbuffén var bra. Ett mysigt familjehotell som ligger ca 25 minuter utanför Venedig. Dock var det smidigt att lämna bilen och ta tåget in till Venedig. Tågstationen är nära och hotellet har tidtabell som man kan få. Vi var två vuxna och och två tonåringar som bodde här i två nätter. Sammantaget är detta ett bra och billigt boende som vi absolut återkommer till vid nästa Venedig resa!

Hotel zweckmäßig gelegen, zum Bahnhof nach Venedig ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Umgebung sonst anspruchlos an Ausfallstraße mit Gewerbe, bei geschlossenem Fenster ruhig. Aber: Klimaanlage sehr laut und zugig, insoweit unkomfortabel.
