We tried searching for a decent hotel in Vaxjo. Selection was limited in the city but we ended up choosing Elite Park. We arrived late around 10:30pm. While we were checking in, we were told our room is in the next building which required short distance walking. One of the luggage wheels was broken and the staff offered their trolley to help us delivered our luggage to the next building. The design of the hotel is a bit outdated but very clean. One thing we thought they could do better is to set up a directory on the phone. We could not reach anyone from the building and had to walk in the cold to the main building for hotel services.

Lots of windows
Very nice location, great buffet breakfast, helpful staff. Parking was less convenient but very manageable. Lobby is large and a bit cold looking but rooms were nice. A nice view of the city street in the dining area.

The room was fine although a bit run down and shabby. The restaurant was terrible. The food was so salty and badly prepared that we could not eat it. At breakfast, they always ran out of tea and it was like pulling teeth to get someone to go to the back and get some more. The first answer was, No, we have no more tea. Bad attitude. The cups were dirty, the breakfast buffet ran out of plates, all in all,a sloppy affair.

The staff goes oit of their way to help assure a comfortable stay from every aspect. The lovely woman who checked us in also called the rental car company to help me figure oit how to return a rental car in a foreogn country. Service above and beyond!! Nice breakfast and very comfortable room too.

Martin was very helpful and even arranged to rent a canoe for us in a local campground since we didn't speak Swedish. We also used the loaner bikes and rode around two local lakes and up to the castle. The breakfast is the best hotel breakfast I've had in Europe.

Great place right next to the Main Street
Comfortable rooms right next to the Main Street, perfect for a quick business trip or a visit to the town. Staff were great and the breakfast has everything you could want.

We where there to participate in a sports event. The hotel was excellent value for money, we stayed two days and the hotel was well placed in central town and staff was helpful and nice. It´s clearly not a 5 star but delivers everything you need when you have reason to visit Växjö and only need somewhere to stay. Only remark woud be that the scrambled eggs for breakfast day 1 was really good but didnt keep same standard day 2.

Great local hotel
Great local hotel, exactly what was needed for a business trip. Nice room layout with desk, and good breakfast the next day. Covered car park is within a couple minutes walk (No need to scrape off the snow in the morning :))
