Beautiful hotel in the centre of Utrecht. We wete thetefor just one night to go to a concert but OMG we will definitely book again. Crisp white sheets, quirky decor! Fabulous!

Beautiful and unique building. Breakfast was inconsistent and not worth the money- First 2days we were given a selection of scrambled egg ( in a jar), rolls, croissant and yoghurt. There was one coffee machine which we had to queue for. On our last day there was no room for us at our time given. We came back half an hour later to be given a small plate of cheese and ham( 2 pieces of each of Brie, Dutch cheese and ham)and were told to help ourselves- there was only bread rolls, jam and one croissant left. I asked for yoghurt which we were then given. There was only one member of staff serving and she seemed keen to go chat to the man serving on the reception. Definitely not worth paying for breakfast! Rooms were small but adequate. No air conditioning-we had 2 rooms and the air con wouldn’t switch on in either. We had a small patio but it hadn’t been cleaned. Hotel ok for an overnight stay but I wouldn’t book again. Very limited staffing - receptionists also do breakfast- not ideal at busy times. This has the potential to be a lovely boutique hotel but sadly it isn’t quite there yet.

Best place to break my RX glasses, when I asked it there was a place to get reading glasses. The response was we are the "Eye Hotel" of course we have glasses you can purchase!! 👍😃 The staff made great recommendations for sightseeing & restaurant and we rented bikes from them! Very happy with our stay. Our only glitch was our safe wouldn't close & made an alarm noise!

Nice place but looking a little tired. Strange basin arrangement, they're situated in the room rather than with the shower & toilet. Breakfast was OK. Staff were all great.

Beautiful, quaint hotel just off a main road with lots of dining and shopping options nearby. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a ground floor room with a private terrace (sadly, we didn’t get to use it as it was very rainy during our visit). Room was cosy and very clean. Bed was a little soft for my liking but that’s a personal preference. Lovely modern bathroom with high-end bath products which I enjoyed so much that I went out and bought some for myself :)

The Eye Hotel was superb, good location, room was beautifully clean and very well presented. All of the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was sublime and presented with great care and set us up well for the day.

Enjoyed the Eye Hotel.
We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at The Eye Hotel and would definitely stay again if visiting Utrecht! The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming on arrival. In our room there was a welcome postcard too, a nice touch. The bed was so comfortable enabling restful nights sleep. The location was excellent, very central giving easy access to amenities, trains and buses.

Perfect stay for vacating
Went for a 1 week holiday with wife and 2 kids. Room was made ready early because of how early our flight came in. Perfectly clean, comfortable, and private enough for the kids and us to sleep well! All staff was very friendly and helped answer any questions, find locations, help with public transportation, and made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Nothing but good words for this establishment!

A friend and I stayed for one night here and it was a lovely base to explore the centre of charming Utrecht. The room was spacious and the bedding was incredibly soft. The shower was fantastic and the bathroom products were also great. The staff at reception were helpful (restaurant recommendations, finding a spare charger for my friend). And the hotel itself is very well situated - in a quiet area, with lots of restaurants and coffee shops but only about a 3-5 minute walk away from the (relative) hustle and bustle of the canal.

This hotel was very nice. The room was well decorated and the bed super comfortable. The location could not be better--central and within short, easy walking of center, with lots and lots of stores and restaurants close by.

Make sure you've got your eye on this
Stayed here before a few years ago so it was and easy choice to visit again. As previously, this hotel is simply all you can ask for when visiting Utrecht. It is within easy reach of the train station with just a 10 min walk. The location is right in the heart of Utrecht with an abundance of architecture, museums, bars, restaurants and the wonderful canals that make this a lovely city to visit. The Eye hotel is stylish, well equipped, provides a lovely breakfast and is very welcoming. The building itself is stunning and gives you many things to look at as there are a lot of quirky features.

Character hotel in the heart of town
This is a really good place to stay: a modern hotel with literally bags of character. The interior is imaginatively realised and the rooms have stlish individuality without sacrificing either practicality or comfort. Wi-Fi was reliable and the shower was refreshing. The bed was very comfortable and I got a really good night's sleep thanks to black-out curtains as well. The breakfast was very good quality with excellent fresh rolls, juices and coffee. The only downside was the lack of affordable car parking space by the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at Eye Hotel tremendously. The location is great, and the hotel staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. From the moment we arrived, we felt very comfortable. The room itself was a good mix of trendy and comfortable. We stayed in one of the basic rooms, but felt it was a great size for two people, complete with a small desk area, nice coffee and tea options, and a good amount of sunlight. The bed was incredibly comfortable—we didn't want to leave it in the morning! On the whole, we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Utrecht, and can't wait to stay again!

We had a fabulous weekend in this funky hotel. Great location. Terrific service. Truly unique setting. We loved it, but the small rooms are small and the stairs are narrow. It’s not a modern anonymous space. That’s what I was looking for, so I loved it.
