The Excexra hotel is a beautiful property however not in a nice area. Our room was spacious and lovely. I believe it to be a large tour hotel as it is close to Georme and was full of tours and tour buses. If I booked again I would book in Georme as it is a very cute town basically the same price. The staff were not that friendly and most of the amenities were closed when were there. We were unable to use the spa and spa facilities. Which was the whole reason we booked the hotel In the first place. When asking for a cork screw for our wine, were informed we were not allowed to drink wine on the property that was our own. Overall it was ok.

The room we requested and booked a few months prior was not available and we were given a cheaper inferior room. The hotel refused to reimburse the difference despite numerous requests Also, on the first night, there were builders working in the room above well into the night and did not stop heavy hammering till near midnight. I had a ballon flight booked for a 4.40 am pick and only got a few hours sleep. The hotel refused to apologise or pay any compensation despite numerous requests and video proof. The breakfast was appalling on all three days, the food was all dried out unappealing, We made do with yoghurt and toast and had to pay extra for fresh orange juice. Very disappointing stay, a shame as the hotel setting and layout and location were not too bad.

Good place just noisy
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is it was very noisy. Our room could hear everything. The staff going up the stairs at five in the morning making noise early in the morning you could hear everything. I don’t know if it’s just because our room was located right underneath everything. But it was really hard to get rest with all the noise. I thought I had booked a room that had a balcony and I was told that there was no balconies. Other than that everything was great.

I stayed five nights at this hotel. The hotel room is nice and spacious. Unfortunately, my reservation was messed up and they brought me to a room with three beds when I only requested a double bed on my reservation. The breakfast was okay; they served the same meals every time, and the dinner was lovely. The room I stayed in was not soundproof and had no privacy. The landline phone did not work, and the air conditioner would turn off randomly. The customer service I received from the dining staff was fantastic; I would have given this place a 4/5. However, some of the receptionist staff are terrible and rude. I understand there's a language barrier, and I had to use Google Translate to communicate with some of them. During my check-out, one of the luggage attendant staff demanded that I tip him 100TL for getting my two checked luggage in my room. When I asked if he was joking, he told me it was customary to tip to get checked suitcases in rooms. I would have tipped him if he didn't have a rude demeanor. I would not recommend this place to foreigners, save your money and go elsewhere with better staff hospitality.

Not the best experience
The hotel location isn’t too bad but the service is absolutely terrible for room service. I’ve had to request towels on several occasions and staff don’t seem to know much about the hotel. When using the pool facility, I’ve had to request for towels on two occasions and did not receive it as requested and made a couple of visits to reception. I asked for a menu when by poolside, it never arrived and the staff have zero interest in assisting. When asking staff where the toilets are located when outside your bedroom, they are unable to assist. One staff member advised that there was no toilet near the pool whilst there was, the bathroom continuously overflows with water and there was no door for the bathroom when in the room so you need to request the traveller with you to vacant the room whilst you do your business. The hotel have a lot of work to do with their service and the service of their staff.

The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, with a maze of floors and rooms, beautiful view and the layout and all is spectacular. Plenty of stairs, so be mindful with kids and older people (Luckily our parents got one of the top floor rooms and didn't have to climb all those flights of stairs. The pool was pretty cold and not very big, but it served its purpose and the children loved it. Beautiful, spacious bathrooms and very comfy rooms. We had minor issues with the internet connection. The staff wouldn't give us wifi password and demanded to type it on our devices in person and we noticed other customers at the reception were experiencing the same issue. It wasn't a biggie though. The only downside was when we asked for late check-out (the check out was at noon and we asked to stay until 3pm) and the receptionist wanted to charge us 100 EUR for an additional 3 hrs of stay!!!! This was a ridiculous experience.

Stunning hotel with amazing views surrounding the property and very chilled vibes. The rooms are lovely, a good size and give you a cave like experience. They are clean, the beds are comfortable and there are cute courtyards to chill in, outside your rooms. Spectacular views from the pool, it’s slightly small but it was very clean and perfect temperature. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options and a beautiful courtyard to eat it in. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but the views are stunning from the rooftop and we had some drinks there. A special shout-out to Eray and Ismail who went above and beyond to look after us during our stay. Great location, with very friendly locals and great souvenirs on offer demonstrating the area’s craftsmanship. The area is not very crowded and feels a more authentic Turkish experience.

I will highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff are lovely, especially the Guest relations manager. I regret for not spending more days in Cappadocia and enjoy a bit more of the amazing comfort and service that the hotel has to offer. The infrastructure is well maintained and in good condition. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay at the hotel was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel is near to a few restaurants, ATM machines, and small shops. I will highly recommend booking a taxi with the hotel when planning to go to Urgup (around 5 minutes drive from the hotel) and other places.

1) I’ve never experienced a hotel stay at this price point that didn’t have air conditioning. Rooms use radiant heat for winter. In the middle of September, our room was apparently prepared for winter. Because the temperature in the room climbed through the night while the temperature outside went down. Without air conditioning to cool the room, it became miserable as the night went on. We were able to open the windows. But, the arid, calm climate made it difficult to cool so late into the early morning. 2) Our breakfast eating area was bombarded with flies. It greatly distracted from what was otherwise a typical, rich, self-service, Turkish breakfast. Both issues could easily have been addressed by the installation of fans. But, the property is built for aesthetics rather than comfort.

These rooms have heating and cooling facilities. You reservation room category, there is information that air conditioning is available in some rooms. When you wrote to us from Expedia, we said that we would upgrade with air-condition room. The chapel and our garden were very much appreciated by our guests. Our breakfast is open buffet and Turkish breakfast.Since our garden is an open area, it is normal for bees and flies. We cannot interfere with nature. However, we have measures. It is medicated 2 times a day, morning and evening. At the same time, a fan works in our breakfast buffet. Our food is covered. There is also a closed part of our breakfast area.Best Regards,

Not a great stay. We check in and were given a wrong type of room. We checked with them the next morning and they denied the mistake and then upgraded it. So if we would not have asked we would have been ignored. Bills not available on checkout and wrong items billed onto our room. Highly overpriced airport pickup. Lovely breakfast, very limited dinner menu. Good housekeeping service but leaking bathroom fittings.

My husband and I visited Exedra for 3 nights, in a pool room in the garden, it was so romantic and so perfect! It exceeded all of our expectations! We had the greatest time, it was quiet, beautiful and the service was incredible! We couldn’t decide where to spend our time because everywhere was so amazing, the room and all of the common areas. Every set of rooms has their own little area outside to enjoy which prevents crowding in one area like most hotels. The food was perfect, my husband is from Adana (which is known for their food) and even he was extremely impressed! Do not skip the breakfast!! We will DEFINITELY be staying again in the future!! I cannot say enough good things about Exedra, so If you’re considering this hotel just book it! You won’t be disappointed at all!

Good location with poorest service
The service was very very very slow. It is far from Goreme and taxi drivers have some kind of sharing with hotel and they charge hefty amount. The staff is not well trained e.g I asked for a dental kit at 6.30 am called thrice after which one front at 8:00 am office guy told me that the dental kit is not available.

You called a cab. Taxi meter said it hurt. You didn't want the driver, you also wanted the exterior set at 07.50 and at 08.00 the tooth set went to your room and shouted at the reception for it. Please do not provide false information The camera records that he went to your room at 08.00.

Ortahisarın en başaralı oteli olabilir.Otele girişte odamızla ilgili memnuniyetsiliğizi giderme ve odayı değiştirme konusunda resepsiyonun gayreti bizi memnun etti.kahvaltısı yeterliydi. Odamızı temizlemerini istememize rağmen temizlenmemişti fakat belirttiğimizde hızlıca müdahale ettiler. Çıkışta 11.30 da arayıp 12 de çıkacaksınız haberiniz varmı diyene kadar herşey iyiydi! Ha birde 3 kere şömineyi yakmaları için aradık yardımcı olmadılar.

Her şey çok güzeldi. Otelin atmosferi başka bir dünyaya ait hissettirdi. Hizmet ve iletişim ise beklenen düzeydeydi. Sıcak suda yaşanan arıza nedeniyle 1 gece sıcak suya erişim sağlayamadım tek eksi yönü sadece buydu.

Muazzam bir otel
Otele girer girmez güler yüzlü çalışanlar ve hızlı bir ekip ile karşılaştık. Odamız mükemmel ötesiydi. Aralık ayında geldiğimiz için soğuktan müzdarp oluruz diye düşündük fakat oda sıcacıktı. Odanın dizaynı kullanılan eşyalar temizliği ve magara otel olmasına ragmen odanın ferahlıgı muazzamdı. Kapadokyada bir çok oteli araştırmış biri olarak söylüyorum ki bu kadar iyisi bence yok. Eşimle hayran kaldığımız bir tatil geçirdik. Tekrar ve tekrar gelmeyi planlıyoruz. İst döneli 2/3 gün oldu aklımız hala otelde. Tam bir dinlenme ve konfor tatili düşünüyorsanız exedra doğru adres. Yalnız kahvaltıdaki ürünlerin kalitesini arttırabilirsiniz. Başkada bir pürüz yok otelde. Şömineyi yaktırmak istedik hemen yardımcı oldular. Oda temizliği vs muazzamdı. Aklında soru işareti olanlara fikir olması açısından detaylı yazmak istedim.

Hotels üzerinde fotoğraflarını görerek rezervasyonunu yaptırdığımız oda verilmedi. Sonrasında talep etmemiz üzerinde verildi ama ödediğimizden daha küçük bir odada kalmış olduk. Girişte otel, kullanım, kahvaltı vs hakkında hiç bir bilgilendirmede bulunulmadı. Kahvaltı ortalama. Genel olarak çalışanların profesyonel olduğunu düşünmüyorum. Müşteri ile nasıl iletişime geçilmesi gerektiğine dair pek bilgi sahibi değiller ya da müşteriler varken nasıl davranmanın doğru olacağına dair yönetimsel bir yönlendirme almıyorlar.

Odaların aydınlatması daha iyi olabilirdi. İlk verilen oda internette gösterilen fotoğraflar ile aynı değildi bu durumu otel görevlilerine söyledik daha sonra odamız havuzlu olan oda ile değiştirildi. Bu yüzden memnun kaldık ama keşke böyle bir durum hiç yaşanmasaydı.

Wir haben erste Tag nicht richtige Zimmer bekommen. In der Zimmer keine Klimagerät und ein Ventilator und eine kleine jacuzzi. Das Problem ist durch die expedia hat gesagt beim Rezeption.Weil alle crown suite zimmer voll aber beim expedia ist frri zeigt. Ab 2. Tag richtige zimmer bekommen aber ich habe für beide tag teurer Zimmer bezahlt.

Exedraya daha öncede gelip konaklamıştık ve çok memnun kalmıştık herşey aşırı kaliteliydi.kahvaltıdaki peynir markasından yastığa kadar sabuna kadar aşırı kaliteli ürünler kullanılıyordu.ama bu sefer kahvaltı hüsran çıktı.çalışan eleman sayısı fazla ancak ona rağmen toplamda 4 masa kahvaltı yaparken bile çayımızı kalkıp kendimiz aldık geldik .oda temizliği güzeldi ancak eksikler vardı odada önemli olmasada öncekine kıyasla eksikti bazı şeyler .havuz ve çevresi temizlenmedi bu bizi rahatsız etti .ertesi sabah havuza girdiğimizde yine havuzun çevresi kirliydi .kahvaltı kalitesi maalesef düşmüştü,sıcaklar çok basit ve yetersizdi.ekstra ya da seçenek yoktu .patates,menemen ya da tost gözleme vs yoktu.kabak kızarma haşlama yumurta ve omlet vardı.Kocaman otelde 5 tane şezlong olması sıkıntıydı .bir saat kadar şezlong bulunmasını bekledik ama bulunmadı maalesef .saat 14.00 te otele gelmemize rağmen odalar yeni temizlenmeye başlamıştı .epey zaman kaybı yaşadık .buna istinaden ertesi gün çıkışta bize tölörans sağladı resepsiyon teşekkür ederiz.ayrıca oda olarakta çok güzel bir oda temin etti resepsiyondaki hanımefendi ayrıca teşekkür ediyorum .

Unfortunately the personal stuff on the reception was horrible. They were not helpful or kind. We asked them twice which time our shuttle will come on the next day for the transport to the airport and they have said the wrong time. We got confirmed the time even in handwritten form. Furthermore the stuff on the reception couldn’t speak English as well and they didn’t care if you tell them problems or concerns. The food in the restaurant was good and also the personal stuff in the restaurant was nice and very friendly. The hotel itself is nice and the rooms are pretty. Unfortunately the cleaning stuff forgot also the dirty cleaning sponge in the room which represents not really a good side in point of the workers and their motivation. Nevertheless, it would be for the hotel itself good to present educated stuff on the reception because it’s the first image from the hotel.
