Room was directly over the restaurant main door, facing a busy street (both were noisy). What was worse was the near constant smoking by restaurant patrons as well as staff so we had to keep the windows shut. Staff was very pleasant however.

It is really clean, comfortable, convenient and nice with good staff. The breakfast was also good and well served. Highly recommend!

They do notha ea reception desk, you have to fi d someone in the attached restaurants. The room was very nice the only problem is the shower space does not fit a adult. Breakfast was great.

Definately book...
Would highly recommend. Staff is wonderful. Best breakfast we have had so far. Restaurant was excellant. No complaints. A great value for the money.

Shipping the QP home
Nice hotel, very close to center and has free parking. Rooms are typical small European hotel, shower enclosure is ridiculously small.

Very nice hotel, within 10-20 minutes drive of many nice places around Zurich. Good breakfast and restaurant. Amazingly good internet (200 Mbps up/down).

Great place to stay
Such a lovely place to stay and the staff are wonderful and very very helpful. the bedrooms are quiet and comfortable. such a pity about the bathrooms. A hand basin that just about fits one hand and a shower there is hardly room to turn around in, despite that I would certainly stay there again. Excellent breakfast and a good restaurant.

Lovely place, would definitely return!
Hotel was so very nice, clean, huge room, comfortable, friendly staff, no complaints! Great location, beautiful view, good breakfast. So happy we choose to stay here.

Love This Place
Phenomenal food (breakfast included in stay) and service- the staff is pleasant and eager to please. Super clean, especially for an older inn type hotel.

One night in Landgasthof Leuen
My wife and I stayed one night in this hotel. The front desk was not open at this late hour (at 8 pm), but we were able to check in through the hotel's restaurant. The room was big enough and very clean as everything in Zurich. The TV had over 100 channels, including many British and US ones. The breakfast buffet was nice: eggs, yogurt, cheese, ham, hard salami, cereal, fruits etc. The hotel is not in the downtown so one needs an hour to reach to/from the airport. We used bus#350 to get to/from Zurich Viedikon train station, and then S2 train for the airport connection. I like the hotel, even with a quite high room price of 175 CHF, but everything is VERY expensive in Switzerland, so the hotel is not to be blamed.

Convenient stay
Hotel is very conveniently located for meetings on the southern part of Zürich, even the City Centre is easily reachable for shopping and sightseeing. Great public transport into town just 50 yards from the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast and great food in the restaurant and summer terrace. Free parking, which is a great plus, especially since a other hotels charge nearly as much for parking as they do for rooms! Rooms are very clean, the only fault are the small showers (even for normal size people!)

Landgasthof Leuen Review
Wonderful place! This is a family owned hotel is actually a restored farmhouse which gave it such a homey feel like being in a cabin in the Swiss mountains! The staff was tremendous! We were traveling through Europe for a few weeks, and this place was one of the best experiences we had because of the wonderful staff! Highly recommend! There was also a laundry room with an ironing board on our floor. Rooms were nice. If i could change one thing it would be a bigger shower! LOL We did not have dinner there, but we saw a lot of people coming for dinner so it must have been good! Traveler tip: There is no elevator, or air-conditioning. We were there in June and didn't really need it because it was cooler weather, especially at night, (high 50's). Also wished we had packed lighter! lol.....Didnt matter, had a great stay anyway! :)

Affordable option, only 20min from Zurich Centre
Rooms are simple and functional. Staff is very helpful. The property also has a great Restaurant (which will be even more fun with outdoor seating, once temperatures allow.)

Uns hat der Aufenthalt in dem familiären Gasthof Leuen sehr gefallen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und für eventuelle Fragen oder Wünsche ist die Rezeption unweit der Zimmer. Die Zimmer sind sehr gepflegt, bequemer Schlafcomfort, helle Zimmer und schallisoliert. Ausstattung mit allen nötigen Basics wie Fön, Minibar,Safe, Handtücher, TV. Zum Hotel ist der Parkplatz inbegriffen weswegen wir uns hierfür mitentschieden haben. Ca 10 Minuten zu Fuß kann man die Bahn benutzen, die in 15 Minuten in Zürich oder in Richtung Uitliberg fährt. Das Frühstück haben wir sehr genossen hier steht die Qualität im Mittelpunkt. Die feine Auswahl und Frische hat uns wirklich beeindruckt. Ebenfalls steht eine schöne Terasse zur Verfügung. Ein toller Aufenthalt, den wir wiederholen und weiterempfehlen. Danke
