The hotel staff were super friendly and accommodating when checking in early. The AC system needs a bit of work, no hot water, but otherwise we had a great time.

You get what you pay for but you can’t be angry that they are a wonderful value venue that doesn’t disappoint. If you’re going to complain, just foot the bill for $200 plus a night condo and leave these people alone. They are wonderful service wise and will help you any way you need. Is it the cleanest in the world? Nope. Because there’s sand on beaches and lo and behold people bring that sand in with them and then this staff gets blamed because they couldn’t vacuum it all up for quick turn around. Give me a break and give them a break. Definitely worth the time and money if you’re on a budget and need a place to stay right on the beach. Recommend 10/10 times.

Our initial room assignment was dirty and had a fist-punch mark on the wall next to the sink. I don't think it was supposed to be rented out. You could tell it hadn't been cleaned in a while. We discussed it with the manager and was promptly moved to an upgraded, very clean, room with a kitchenette. That room was very nice. I've seen other complaints about dirty rooms and am wondering if they aren't properly flagged in their database. The cleaning people were around every day going from room to room and left our room in very good shape. It could use some updating but cleanliness comes first - which was fine in our 2nd and final room. Very convenient to the beach, stores, and placed to eat.

This place has water that smell and taste like eggs. It’s very upsetting to find out about this after checking in to a non refundable reservation. It would be in your best interest to make this aware to future visitors

My friend and I came down for a weekend at the beach. The location of the motel was convenient but the set up I was not comfortable with as a middle aged woman. The parking area and outside was very run down. The inside was surprisingly clean. We were pleased with the room and location to the beach but didn’t like the location and outside.

The property is in a perfect location with easy walking to restaurants, shops and the beach. The check in was smooth and easy. The bed was very comfortable. However, the room was is bad shape. There was water damage on the wall between the bedroom and bathroom. The ceiling was peeling in one area with a large portion hanging down. The wall by the sink had severe water damage and mold. And there was a fist sized hole in one wall by the bathroom as if someone had punched it in. The room was just in bad shape and needs some repair. Not worth the money spent on the place for sure.

Very convenient location near a lot of bars and restaurants. Downside, the rooms need a lot of TLC. The floors could use a scrubbing, the were very dirty. I had to use towels to walk across the floor so my feet wouldn’t be filthy after taking a shower. Holes in the walls and mold in the bathroom were also noticed. Staff were very friendly.

This hotel was terribly dirty and unkept. The only redeeming things about the hotel is it’s proximity to the beach and downtown. Staff was also nice.

I hate to share a bad review. Room 115. I get that it was just after "Spring Break", but maybe it will make it better for the next guests. Bed comforter was a bit dirty like someone stood on it and left foot prints. The floors needed to be swept they were gritty (from the sand probably). The lamps didn't work. The old school lock was broken (I put a chair under the door for a measure of safety). And lastly the window to the door (like a portal) was rotted out and could easily have been pushed in. Shower was clean. Sheets were clean and smelled like freshly bleached and I was only staying one night so I stayed. I was up and out early.

The location was right on the street with a lot of bars and souvenir shops. It was quiet at night, which was great, but not the scene we were looking for (family of 4). The bar Wet Willies is right under the hotel and I'm pretty sure the bar uses a room there for storage. It was close the beach, which was also great, but the hotel needs some maintenance and upkeeping. The pool had no lock to get in so pretty much open to the public. The room was fairly dirty. The beds were clean, but the floor was filthy, baseboard and trim were coming loose or coming off, and the door had gaps all around it. The front desk people were very nice and having a parking spot that close to the beach was also very nice.

Great location - just a quick walk to good eats and the beach. Parking is decent but a bit tight with some of the SUVs trying to park in the spaces. Overall, a great experience!

I love the mini kitchen!!!during out stay-there was unexpected tornado warning,it rained all day-good thing there’s market nearby and the room have mini kitchen with utensils. I suggest to add a kettle for hot water in case guest cant drink coffee. Ill be back for sure.

Nice place for an overnight stay. The exterior is unimpressive, but the room was very clean, and the bed was so comfortable! There was a nice pool which we did not use as it was too cold, also a photo booth---when did you last see one of those? Easy, short walk to beach and dining options. Tybee is a great little old-time beach town.

The hotel is ok does need a good cleaning beds are soft we didn’t use the pool but it looked clean very close to the beach and pier the staff was very friendly parking was tight but one good thing you didn’t have to pay extra like other hotels started doing I will stay here again

Great spot near the water and lots of dive bars
My favorite kind of place! Vintage, unique great location and fair price. I couldn’t give full stars just bc some aspects of the hotel are dated. The bed was a little stiff. Light came in through closed window curtains. no exceptional amenities. Obviously nothing too bad ! I loved the extra large bathroom counter and big plush chair in the room. The room also had a lovely vaulted ceiling. It was a great place to stay.

Checkin was fast and the young man at the front desk was very nice. The rooms are extremely dated. The furniture needs to be replaced. Only provided two towels and they were dirty. The outside has trash everywhere in the parking lot. The water from the sink and tub smelled terrible! The floors were gross and the toilet was dirty.
