The Leo Grand has a lot of appeal. The design is great, the location is perfect. Wonderful high quality beds and linens and lovely Penhaligons toiletries. Breakfast was included booking via Expedia and that was a big plus as otherwise it’s quite expensive. The covered and heated courtyard which also serves as the dining room plays music til late ish as the restaurant is busy and fun - but I wouldn’t book a room overlooking the courtyard for fear it would be noisy. Our room faced the street outward and was blissfully peaceful.

Great location very close to the metro. Very friendly people. Room was spacious and clean. Hotel bar and restaurant were a little bit empty and can be depressing, though.

The location is excellent, staff were nice. In hotel price for drinks was way too high and limited. So just avoid that and go to a local spot nearby and there are plenty. While the hotel claims Air Conditioning it is in fact only available during certain seasonal times. We were here late April in hot weather and had to sleep with windows open and there is a LOT of urban dust/dirt in the air.

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. What made the room awesome was the view of the city. The breakfast buffet was not the best. I don’t recommend it if you want great breakfast. It was a vegan breakfast but you can order a small meat plate from the servers there. But it’s just deli meats. 😫 ..."
