Staff and food amazing, i feel the room is a last let, zip bed which kept coming apart, window doesn't open ,and heating didn't work, water leaking from shower door leaving the floor quite slippery,

Good bar food
Hotel is a little dated but not a bad option. Staff were really nice generally and the bar food was really good. There's a really strange smell of some cleaning product throughout the hotel - I know that may sound weird but it was really off putting. The place was clean though!

Like pool. Did not like bed mattress, it wasn’t a mattress, it was 2 mattresses zipped together leaving a dip in the middle, which was uncomfortable and caused pain to an already existing back ache. I have never ever seen 2 mattresses zipped together in a hotel of this calibre, always only one king size mattress giving equal comfort across whole mattress, not having to sleep either side of a very uncomfortable zipped up dip in the middle!!!!

Staycation in Tullamore
They were just back from Covid closure so I must say i was impressed at how well it all went. Very clean rooms. Clean hotel. Would love to do a few designer updates but down to personal taste i guess. Bath tub had some melted plastic stuck that they need to remove (difficult job but can be done). Pool was available for prebooking. Showers in changingroom were not in use and had a very bad smell, due to stagnant water i am guessing but all very minor things considering. We had a great time and the staff were very accomodating and helpful. Breakfast was not running to normal capacity so we prefered the cafe down the road but we are picky coffee drinkers. Quick and easy check in and check out.

Nowhere near a 4* hotel. Great tired hotel, restaurant is disgusting. Good good but grubby overall. Carpets all stained and thread bare.

Very friendly staff a definite plus. There were a couple of negatives. The stairs down from bedrooms to reception had an unpleasant smell. In our room, the integrated hairdryer had come apart. And the batteries in the TV remote nneeded replacement.

Nice hotel, wedding parties dominate. Room good and comfortable. Only slight issue, no cold water, hot even when adjusted to cold. Reported and 2 bottles of mineral water provided for teeth cleaning. Parking a bit distant from hotel which is inconvenient when raining. It was raining.
