The food was excellent. Lovely pool. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms basic and clean but could do with updating. Shower leaked. Beach nice but busy but great location with mountains behind.

Great place to spend. Mountains in the back and the sea in the front. Clean water, friendly staff. Restaurants are nice. But not equal. In one restaurant, nobody attended. In another one, bartenders were chaffing but did not care. Somewhere, they do not take credit cards. However, one was great - Marina restaurant - we got there every day for Frutti di mare food. Yami Yami....On the wrong side, too many dogs for my taste all around. You need to be lucky not to have guests around who leave their little friends in the room barking. We were lucky in this way.

Wi-Fi is bad in the complex J. Room service did not restock shampoo. Had to ask for it on the front desk. TV had only 9 local channels available. Crowded parking area without good organization had to block someone in order to park. Overall this hotel is not really 4 stars. Maybe 3 at the most.

Lovely hotel revisited
Very friendly, helpful staff in all places in the hotel. Very attractive and right across the promenade from the beach. Lovely little seaside town. Definitely recommend to others.

Lovely hotel great location.
From the hotel you can walk straight on to the promenade by the pebble beach with crystal clear water. The swimming pool is good with plenty of sun loungers. Breakfast was ver good only let down by its coffee. Rooms are kept very clean. Some wear and tear showing. Bathroom was immaculate. The hotel staff were very friendly.

Nice hotel is a good location
We were two families and stayed in 3 sea-view rooms. The location was excellent and we just had to cross a promenade to reach the pebbly beach with clear water. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and willing to help. The outdoor pool was clean, but a bit crowded. We were on half-board - the food was average and new dishes were offered everyday of the week. The breakfast was a bit monotonous though. But rather annoyingly, any drinks, even water, had to be purchased for the buffet dinner for the half-board. They would not supply even tap water.

Great Gem on the Makarska Riviera
We were pleasantly surprised with our stay. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was included and we had a great breakfast buffet. The pool was nice. The beach was directly in front of the hotel and many restaurants and shops were located on the promenade in front of the hotel. The mountain scenery behind the hotel is spectacular!! I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Steps, steps and more steps!
Disappointed with this hotel. Rooms/apartments quite old fashioned and need refurb.Beds not comfortable. Room dark.So many steps to access all the rooms which are spread over a large area on a hillside, that we had to move hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful but unable to find a suitable room to accommodate us. I have ME and can do a few steps here and there but not the amount in this hotel so it was impossible for me. There is a lift in the main hotel building which goes between reception and the lower level where dining room and pool areas are. On the positive side the location and views are lovely, but as it was end of season (October) there were not many restaurants open nearby in Tucepi. Plenty of choice in the hotel restaurant ,but food suited the majority of guests who were Germany. We were glad we moved to a hotel in Makarska where there was more going on and found a beautifully, modern, comfortable hotel on the level and with lift access to all floors.If you can't do steps then don't go here!

Hotel was very nice. Good food and staff friendly. Very clean and excellent location, lots of very nice restaurants within easy walking distance. We went in September, There were very few British people in hotel and majority of people were senior citizens so it wasn't ideal for my 'twenty something' sons but we could have just chosen the wrong week

This hotel ticks all the boxes
We are a family of 4 with 2 x 7 yr old boys, the hotel exceeded all our expectations. Swift check in, great room with plenty of space, really clean and a breathtaking view. The staff are all fantastic and work very hard to make your holiday a memorable one. Staff running kids club go above and beyond to involve the children and encourage them to join in. Selection of food at breakfast and dinner was suited all our family's tastes, with plenty of choice. Ideal location for strolls along promenade and for the more adventurous trips to other islands, towns on the coast.

Great hotel in a great location with excellent fac
This was an excellent holiday in Tucepi! The hotel is only 10m from great beaches and has excellent facilities with great staff! Food was also very good with a lot of variety and fresh fruit. Everything is very clean throughout and the happy hours on cocktail drinks is a nice touch. Only criticism is that dinner should include a free drink for half board but prices are accessible. Overall, a great hotel excellently run in a fabulous country - Croatia!

The property is ok- a bit stuck in the 1970s though. The pool gets crowded in July. I prefer more low key. Our room was clean and had a great view. I did not enjoy the food served in the buffet restaurant. Actually felt sick after the meal. Eat in town from then on. Staff was not particularly friendly.

Nice Hotel Once You Find It
We enjoyed our one-night stay at Afrodita once we found it. There are 4-5 Bluesun hotels in Tucepi and very few signs. If you find the parking lot for Afrodita, there is no sign at all over their lobby entrance with their name, only down on the beach boardwalk. But once we checked in we had a spacious room with a step-down sitting area and large covered terrace. There is a nice large pool too. The boardwalk at the bottom of the property is the main drag for the town with all the restaurants and shops you will find. There is virtually nothing in town off the beach except apartments.

Good Hotel in a decent location
Initially I was disappointed at having no kettle in our room and also at the way in which we as a family with a toddler were expected to let our child sleep on a sofa bed as opposed to a proper spare bed as we had requested. Food choice at breakfast was very limited particularly if you are vegetarian / halal only. The majority of guests were in theirnlate 50's or older and the hotel also is in desperate need of painting. A couple of the staff there came across rude and aggressive, and very defensive over the smallest of questions. Over time we got used to it and managed to ignore those "vibes" and just got on with it. We were most annoyed about the nlise being made by the cleaning ladies. They would start at around 5 or 6 am and had no regard for guests who may be asleep. You could hear them yelling and chatting away in the corridors as though everyome should be awake at 6am. This happened every morning of our ten night stay. The other main issue for.me was everytime we has a question for reception, the staff would look at us like we were stupid and their attitude was defensive and dismissive to our concerns. Eg. when we asked for a kettle they almost laughed at us and told me that its not standard to provide kettles in hotel rooms in Croatia. I think this is a lie. Aside from the above, our stay was comfortable, the majority of staff were very freindly to our toddler and did their best to accomodate our requirements. The hotel has a great location with great views

Well run hotel with nice staff
Friendly service, excellent food, nice resort. Only thing not according to rules is sunloungers being reserved before breakfast, but there were enough elsewhere to go round. Rooms are seperate from hotel divided by avenues of olive trees, sage and rosemary shrubs.

Hotel well positioned in the resort within easy walking distance of all the bars and restaurants which all had well priced excellent food and drinks.We were half board and hotel food very good overall and plenty of choice.The only complaint was that the drinks served at evening dinner were quite pricey and would have liked to have had the coffee and tea available like breakfast time. The evening entertainment is a bit hit and miss but as we were staying early in season it will probably improve.Hotel offered free wi-fi but the signal was poor unless you were in reception but this would only be a problem if you had to use it a lot whilst on your holiday.The pool area excellent but despite advising it was not allowed in the hotel info we found most of the sun beds already had towels on them but nobody sat on them by the time we were going to breakfast this could be quite a problem when the hotel starts getting really busy.We would definitely stay at the hotel again and recommend it to others.

Rommene er pusset opp og hotelle har fått på plass trenings rom som er veldig bra. De tar betalt for parkering men det er ikke plass til bilen. Det er veldig dårlig service å kreve betalt for parkering som ikke finnes. Total kaos på parkeringen, biler over alt. Baren oppe ved resepsjon har begrenset åpnings tid, det er ikke bra.Utemøblene er veldig ubehagelige å sitte på . Bar nede har dårlig betjening . Totalt dårlig og uprofesjonell service begge steder. Dårlig mat i restaurant, spis ute:)

Mysigt hotell med stort poolområde. Poolen tyvärr alltför kall. Stranden precis intill med härliga bad. Vi bodde i huset högst upp och det blev jobbigt med alla trappor. Väldigt bra frukostbuffé!

Hotelle er en liten perle som trenger oppusing sårt. Service og personale er dårlig. Lobby baren har ikke åpent hele dagen. Det er svært dårlig. Om morgenen er personale forsinket hver dag. Minst 45 min Baren skal åpne fra 07-11 og 19-23 Det er aldri noen der klokken 7. Man må hele tiden lete etter betjening som ofte sitter å røyker på terrasen. Skuffende

We had a great stay at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is nice but it is in need of an update. De room was good and had a big terrace was was really nice. Room and bathroom very clean and nice but the mattress was very hard and the pillows uncomfortable. The breakfast was great and offered food for every taste including an egg station. But the breakfast-room is in need of some renovating. The pool was nice but there wasn’t enough pool chairs for everybody and all guests reserved their sun-beds from early morning. We enjoyed our stay in Tucepi!

Hotelle har fantastisk beliggenhet men trenger dessverre en del oppgradering. Rommene og badene er fine men gamle. Veldig dårlig air con. Den klarer ikke å kjøle rommet og er gammalt, dårlig påfyll av såpe og dusj . Betjeningen er vennlig men maten er lite variert og dårlig. Dårlig pizza, lite tilbud til barn og manglende treningsrom. Det er trenings fasiliteter på hotellet ved siden av men er av veldig dårlig kvalitet og brukes av lokale beboere en del. Hotellet kunne vært en pæle men da må den oppgraderes og maten bedres. Det er fine løpe muligheter i Tucepi med grusvei mot Makarska med veldig fin utsikt ca. 4,5 km løype fra hotellet til Makarska

Very good hotel
We stayed at the hotel for 4 days, immediately after the reopening of the hotel (Covid-19). There were very few guests, but all services were at a high level. The hotel is in very good condition, right next to the beach, and has its own pool. The atmosphere was pleasant and quiet, but I also attribute this to the fact that there was no crowd, neither in the hotel nor in the city. The hotel also has its own restaurant which was one of the few that were open. Free and secure parking. Basically, a very pleasant stay in the given circumstances.
